Great food and atmosphere. Menu lacks a bit of imagination but top quality stuff! Would go back in an instant. Think it has some links to linguine in sale too but not 100%.

this was the first time we had visited this restaurant and the five of us had a great time. The food was excellent and the staff could not be any more helpfull. We will certainly recommend it to our friends.

Excellant food nicely presented and tasty. Great service from very friedly staff. The only problem was that they hadn't picked up pur on line booking. However problem was soon sorted and we had a most enjoyable evening.

Excellent quick service, a nice atmosphere that wasn't too noisy, and delicious wine and food- the carbonara was the nicest I'd ever tasted. Will definitely be returning soon.

Been here a few times and the food is always excellent with plenty of choice. Pleasant staff who were very accommodating when we asked to move to a quieter table even though the restaurant was very busy. Definitely worth a visit.

The restaurant was lovely great service lovely food and friendly staff. Unfortunately my booking was never on the system or made with the restaurant despite me using Quandoo to make the reservation and get confirmation email of the booking. When I arrived at the restaurant there was no table for me. The staff felt really bad about it and did their best to accommodate me at a later time than planned. I wont trust online booking again.

Excellent birthday evening at Borello. Staff very attentive & food was amazing. 8 people in total & all courses served at exactly same time. Staff really friendly & funny. One of my party had bought me flowers & the staff kindly offered to put them in water until we were ready to leave. Even the chef came out to meet us before we left. Great experience & will definitely be returning very soon.

Amazing food and lovely staff, but can't cope with a full resturant, the wait was too long. They did apologise. Also they don't have immediate access to quandoo, so often booked reservations have to be moved.

Went from work yesterday. Borello is one of the best restaurants in the area. The staff are very welcoming and cannot do enough for you. Food is 10/10, fantastic presentation and tastes amazing.

Family run Italian Restaurant. Excellent food and super service. Had an Early Bird dinner before going to the nearby Theatre. Price for meals was very reasonable.

Staff very friendly, but a little too eager to keep topping up the wine. I also love Shiraz wine but sadly there was none on the wine list.

Lovely food with nice service... always kept the wine topped up! Nice calm atmosphere... all in all we really enjoyed ourselves... would recommend to anyone looking for a nice quiet evening meal... also have kids menu too

Lovely family meal last night for my sons birthday. Very generous portions and delicious food all round. Staff friendly and attentive. Will be back again soon.

Food is always delicious (best Italian around in my opinion), staff great and service was good even though it was full with Xmas parties. We just wish they could sort the acoustics out as it can be unbearably loud and we have to shout to be heard across a table of 4 people.

Excellent food and service and very nice décor. Really could not fault it at all. I had the fillet steak Casanova and my wife had sea bass, both superbly cooked. Will certainly be visiting again very soon.

We had a really good time here we were a party of 8. The food was very good and piping hot! also the service was friendly. I actually received the wrong meal and they did offer to change it, however I didn't really want to eat on my own as everyone else had started their meals, with a bit of persuasion they did knock the price of my meal off the bill at the end so all good. The coffee machine had broken too so we couldn't have a coffee at the end. Overall though we enjoyed our evening and I would definitely return again for a meal

A very drunken group came in and sat at the table next to us. The men in the group were very loud and constantly swearing. I wasn't impressed that the staff allowed this behaviour,. The food was OK, it was presented well but there was no WOW factor to the taste. I'm surprised that this is the number 1 restaurant in Sale. There is another Italian restaurant in sale (Linguine) which is much better. Would not return to Borrello.

Really tasty food. My saltimbocca was delicious. The restaurant was buzzing with atmosphere and is obviously a well-loved local restaurant. I'd go back any time!

Service was terrible, nit enough staff for the amount of people in there. Not enough space to pull your chairs out. It was very noisy couldn't have a conversation as couldn't be heard over the noise. Too long a wait between starter and main was about 50 minutes. The waiter came to apologise 3 times in total.

Lovely food as always and friendly service too . They get it right at Borello . The garlic bread is delicious and a great portion size . I can highly recommend The Spaghetti Borello . Good atmosphere and great decor .

We had a great time at Borello. My second visit and my friend''s first. Service was attentive and helpful and the food was excellent in both taste and presentation. All tables were full. No surprise. Best food in Sale.

The food was really nice, the waiters were all very friendly and helpful, it was a lovely evening out. They recommended a bottle of wine which was good and went with dinner really well.

I booked for 5 people, the staff were lovely and friendly. We chose off the early bird menu, however the 'Special Garlic Bread' was not special at all 3 of us ordered and all found it to be tasteless and very dry not a trace of garlic could be tasted and you definitely could not smell it, it was mentioned to the staff as they collected the plates that still had 80% of the bread untouched but it was not really acknowledged. I asked for a little extra Garlic in my spaghetti, I received almost a full bulb of chopped uncooked garlic which ruined the dish!! the other 4 mains were lovely I must add. This is just a bit of helpful feedback not a public slaying as Borello's on the whole is a lovely place to eat.

Our second visit in a month and another great meal, the food was superb and the guys looked after us really well. Looking forward to our next visit

The most excellent friendly staff you could expect to meet especially Danillo, Jimmy and Anna. We go to Borello once a week and the food is always impeccable. This time we asked for fillet steak with blue cheese sauce as a main course (it is sometimes a special) and no issue whatsoever. The steaks are absolutely fantastic. Tender, cooked to perfection and always cooked exactly how you like them. We would highly recommend this restaurant for the food, ambience and overall fantastic time you will have.

This was our third visit over the past three months. As always we were impressed by the attentive ,friendly service coupled with excellent food at a very reasonable price. I would have no hesitation in recommending Borrellos to anyone searching for a good value and quality Italian restaurant in the Sale area.

Very busy saturday( perhaps too many bookings & too many tables crammed in) 90 minute wait between arriving & service of main course.Food good quality though.Downside was asking for two Italian wines Montepulciano & Verdicchio only to be told by the man acting as wine waiter that they didn't have them & to be upsold two bottles of raissac vin de pays doc at £22.95 each..Not wishing to spoil the evening for my wife & friends I waited until the end of the meal to complain to the manager..He listened politely & suggested he had received a similar complaint..He apologised & offered us free coffee & liquers which we accepted..Not sure I'd go back though to be honest which is a bit sad because we are frequent diners in Sale

First time we have been, the food was excellent and so was the service. We sat at the rear of the restaurant and we found the noise level to be very high, i would recommend sitting as near to the front as possible. We will be returning in the near future as overall the experience was good.

Lovely food and good service. Even made a bespoke dish for one of our party. I had a very nice chicken salad and penne vegetarian.

Barrello is in a convenient location and has a modern interior. We found the staff to be attentive throughout our meal. The food was excellent and not over priced. We will return.

Great atmosphere, amazing food and wonderful service. Would highly recommend a visit. Perfect location, close to parking and to the metro link. Defo worth a look.

The food at borello is excellent, the staff are very attentive and the house red was very nice. I will definitely be back for more!!

First time there, won't be the last, excellent food, surroundings and staff, top local restaurant on our doorstep, looks like it's our new local favourite. Highly recommended.
