Simply amazing. Great service, fab value, great atmosphere, loads of fun. Quite a discovery. Festive fondue. And chocolate fondue both superb. Big portions, but great quality and flavours.
lovely and tasty Sunday roast . Very tender Beef Brisket. Would highly recommend. Good selection of Belgian beers as well as wines and spirits. Warm and cosy atmosphere, pleasant and helpful staff
Amazing food, great service. Just need to update the toilets with available toilets which have a light and hot water for a start. What's on the menu is amazing but there isn't a huge choice so it may be difficult to cater for everyone in a group. Apart from the toilet situation everything else was great.
On point! Lovely meal, the the table we had for three was a little cramped unfortunately but apart from that everything else was as good as it is is.
Great restaurant and the staff are super friendly. Mountains of food that you will struggle to finish but all of it is amazing quality. Definitely try the chocolate fondue as a dessert but be prepared for a good coma.
One of my about favourite places to eat in manchester! Drink table service and both roast fondue and churros were delicious. Look forward to getting vouchers for Bock again.
The Sunday Roast Fondue was excellent, with brilliant service. Highly recommend.
love this place, the food is always incredibly tasty & well cooked & the atmosphere is cosy
What an amazing concept! Yorkshire pudding waffles, beautifully slow cooked beef, nice selection of veggies and delicious gravy (the smell of which hit us as we entered Bock Biere Cafe after an afternoon of pre Christmas shopping). The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff attentive but not overly so, food tasty and portion sizes about right. We opted for dessert also and the churros were as good as those I’ve tasted in Spain. Will definitely visited again and recommend to others. You will not be disappointed!!
Amazing food. Looking to return again. Wish there was a bock closer to where I live I'd be there every weekend. Great food. Great prices.
Quick service, great staff, excellent food. The roast dinner fondue was amazing, we will definitely be returning to try the rest of the standard menu!
We had a lovely time. Food and service was amazing ❤️ Would definitely recommend the Christmas fondue. Happy Christmas. Lots of love, Terry and Rhian
Food is excellent but service was terrible. Really let the place down. We were in there for 2.5 hours and didn’t get asked if we needed a drink once.. the waiters walked past the table many times and ignored us.
Great! The decoration, the staff, the food (a lot of food to be honest )and amazing big choice of beers. I definetely recommend this place.
Amazing food! We had a lovely evening for the Christmas dinner special! Can’t wait to visit again with friends for the cheese fondue next time I am in Manchester.
Great food. Ordered the Christmas roast fondue and it was amazing. Fresh, hot, tasty, and they willingly brought us more gravy and extra veg. The beer flights and cocktails were also amazing, the staff friendly. All round great experience. Only negative was the desserts. We ordered 3, one of each on the menu and they didn't live up to the main course.
After making a reservation, we could have been given a better table. It was falling apart and right next to the kitchen and supply of kitchen utensils. Food was good though.
Service was not the best and food was not as tasty as it appears on instagram ! Overall, worth a try but left slightly disappointed
A totally amazing experience!! The staff were really accommodating, we turned up early for our booking and they did everything to make us welcome. The selection of beers was brilliant, and the food was SO good. Had to have the Christmas dinner fondue, which was an amazing experience, the turkey was a bit dry but everything else was perfect. Had the cheesecake and the mocha mousse for dessert and both tasted fantastic, there was just too much food to manage it all!! Would definitely recommend and definitely go back next time I'm in Manchester.
Food was ok, but nothing exceptional, we got a mix of the Sunday roast with an option for vegetarian, we thought there would also be cheese but no...Nice atmosphere, small space downstairs.
We went here for the roast dinner fondue. Obviously the novelty factor is high, but the food was lovely. Crisp green beans, crispy roast potatoes and the beef literally fell apart. The only slight criticism we have is that our Yorkshire pudding waffles were a tad on the burnt side. Besides the food we loved the decor and the service was good. The only negative point was the women’s bathroom. Although aesthetically well designed the stalls are made of corrugated iron which means they are freezing! I then washed my hands with cold water and dried them using the dryer which was also somehow blowing cold air! Other than this we enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend for food or as a place to while away a couple of hours with some drinks.
We had a great night with fabulous food, highly recommend. Only slight down side was a cold draft sat in the alcove. Can't wait till our next visit.
Amazing food and selection of beer. Friendly staff and cosy atmosphere. The fondue roasts are to die for, the meat is so well cooked - just falls apart!
Novelty factor is great but in essence the food is massively overpriced as you are paying £50 for a two course Sunday/Christmas dinner for two!!
Had a really good time , loved the range of beers and the cozy feel of the place a really good place for a roast
Superb quality food, the servers were very helpful. Super gravy fondue and the turkey / beef was great quality. Beer choice was good and mulled wine packed a real kick!
This was our second visit to Bock Biere and the Sunday dinner fondue was just as good as we remembered The food, service and atmosphere all brilliant
Our waiter Beoccan is probs hands down the best waiter in Manchester. Food was epic. Thank you, will be back as soon as we can!
It was exceptional. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The drinks paired perfectly with the food, and again were reasonably priced. The atmosphere of the restaurant matched the food great. Would recommend as a restaurant for a date, or for a fun get together.
Fantastic Sunday lunch - brought friends who had never been before & they loved it! Service, food, atmosphere all perfect for a wet Sunday in Manchester!
Dirty glass. And for a vegetarian option expensive at £25 per person. We prebooked and we’re seated downstairs. Food wasn’t hot. French onion soup was good and wine options were good.
Good service, amazing food, great choice of beers. Highly recommend. We had the ultimate Christmas dinner with braised beef, roast turkey and ever accompaniment you can think off and a delicious cheesecake for dessert.
yer was really nice, good service, good food and a lot of it! had the xmas dinner fondue and it is just superb. thank you
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu was simple and the food was lovely and good value for money. We will definitely be back. Thanks very much for an excellent experience
Excellent food. Will be going back... A lot. Really nice atmosphere, pricing is good too, not overpriced like a lot of places. Will be my regular feeding place now.
We had an early Sunday lunch. The service was good, the food was great, and the beers were amazing. I definitely recommend the sunday roast Fondue.
Thoroughly enjoyed roast fondue today! My daughter and I can't wait to return for the pizza fondue next time. Fabulous food. Helpful friendly staff 😁
The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was amazing the Sunday dinner fondue is a great little quirk and very delicious. It’s a great little backstreet Jem
Amazing food, cosy atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Can’t fault it, best meal out I’ve had in a long time. For cheese lovers this in an absolute must.
Had a couple of the starters and the mid week roast, shared between 3, plenty of food and absolutely delicious! The service is fantastic too.
Loved the relaxed ambience and idea is genius! We had the festive fondue and was gorgeous... the meat, waffle Yorkshire & gravy combination was simply devine! Only slight gripe was the pigs in blankets & stuffing were cold but complain at the time as the rest was really good. Will definitely return
Always great! The vegan fondue is awesome. We made the same mistake or over-ordering and had to be rolled out again, food is so good you don't ant to waste it though.
Amazing food! We had the Christmas dinner fondue and enjoyed every bit of it! The place is bigger on the inside. It’s cute and has a great range of beers
Been previously and it was delicious. This time around it felt as though they threw all of the leftovers on the plate and served the dish. Very disappointed
Really good food - we had the Christmas dinner fondue. Was so full and brought home a doggy bag on the train. The waitress was really helpful and helped with the baby and helped the guys choose their beers- very knowledgeable about the menu. Really good experience
Great food and service! The food and drink was great. Such a good hidden gem and very different from a typical roast dinner on a Sunday.
Fantastic food, quick, efficient service and very friendly and helpful staff, excellent value for money will definitely be back to sample the week day menu
Great food and atmosphere. Good value for money as well, but the staff in particular were absolutely amazing. They couldn’t do enough to make our evening a real treat. If you like fondue then this is the place for you. I can also highly recommend the bitterballen!
Really disappointed as we had looked forward to our meal. Potatoes were rock hard and the rest of the food just average. Won’t be going again.
I’m a fondue lover, and this is the second time we’ve been here in 3 weeks, and this time we had the Monday roast fondue, and I have to say, it’s amazing. The beef was tender and melted in your mouth, and dipping all veg, meat and yorkies in the gravy was divine. We’ll be back soon!
