Good service great staff great food and great value for money have been here twice not disappointed would come again. The best wood fire pizzas ever.

Bocconcino is a hidden gem - a beautiful interior, hushed yet comfortable atmospohere and a menu full of tasty and eloquent dishes. Service is of the highest level and the wine menu has great choice. I would highly recommend for a business lunch or nice dinner. The fresh fish counter and the coffee's are also impressive.

Considering there was no one else dining in the restaurant, there was literally just the two of us at one point, the service was really really slow

Overall good evening with friends, however the risotto with langoustines were a disappointment as it was mainly rice on the plate - not good, and I would've expected better

Really enjoyed this restaurant, great comforting design with a high class feel and very friendly staff which helped make the night what it was. They also Hand wrote a nice happy birthday note on my girlfriends dessert which wasn't expected. Overall great experience and would go back!

Unfortunately the service was not as we expected, we asked for our meals twice as they brought missing meals and we gave up at the end for the coffee we had ordered and asked for the bill. Besides lobster linguine was too much oily I couldn't even finish.

Food was excellent Price was normal Service was very good I had very lovely evening and hope to come again I will advice to my friends.

Staff were lovely and showed considerate customer service. The food however did not live up to expectations for the price. The stuffed zucchini flower was soggy and the purée garnish was flavourless although the stuffing was nice. The ravioli was flavourless, the chocolate fondant was so tiny and disappointing. For the prices charged and the calibre the restaurant pitches itself at, it really does not meet expectations.

For not as good as it looks. Staff unpleasant It’s too bad I seen the reviews post dinner. I cancelled a Ramsay restaurant for this and was deeply unimpressed

Great food , excellent white wine , very well prepared Dover sole which was grilled and accompanied by spinach , colleague had veal Milanese very large also with spinach

Great service and food. Would defiantly go back. Setting was fab they had music playing in the background which was a nice touch. Defiantly worth a try.

Excellent food, service and surroundings. The staff are attentive and helpful and the menu has sufficient variety. Fast becoming one of my favourite regulars in London now and great lunchtime or dinner.

Great food but definetely a bit overpriced. Amazing starters (especially fiori di zucchina and tuna tartare) and dessert (pistacchio semifreddo). Pizza average. Super expensive wine.

Very nice environment. Excellent food and service. Only comment is that we received main courses almost immediately after our starters were removed. Prompt service is good, but we would have preferred a few minutes between courses. Will absolutely visit again and would recommend.

very welcoming staff! got a bonus ice cream which says happy birthday for one of my friend. food is awesome, especially the salmon tartare. toilets are extremely clean as well, equipped with towels rather than paper towels.

Sat in the corner. Very hard to get in and out without annoying guests sitting next us. Nice food. Awful service. Reception girls were lovely.

Food was lovely. However the service was kind of slow and pretty lacklustre. Over-pouring of mineral water is very annoying. Ordered olives and they never turned up (tho' at least they were taken off the bill.)

Great service. Polite and friendly staff. Good menu especially for vegetarians. Seats are strangely low making dining slightly awkward. Food was fantastic, especially the pizza!

Service very good. The pizza was not the best I have ever had, but really good and tasty. My 5-year old son had a tagliatelle and loved it. I recomend tiramisu. London typical prices...

Everything perfect even if informal. Good fresh italian food with good and rich menu as you can find in .italy. Location perfect in the City center close to the best shopping area.

We had a very enjoyable Friday evening at Bocconcino. Nice atmosphere, food was excellent and staff attentive without being intrusive. Starters were appropriately portioned, the tagliatelle with wild boar ragu and the deep fried calamari deserving a special mention. One of my sons had the Fassona steak which he insisted I had to try and I must say it was cooked to perfection. One of my other sons had the tomahawk steak which was not only huge but tasted good too. Two of our guests had pizzas which looked and tasted delicious, my wife's seabass got a thumbsup and the veal Milanese I had was spot on :-) Desserts were good, especially the pizza dolce and the millefoglie. All in all a very pleasant experience - thank you Bocconcino !

Nice restaurant on the whole, ambience and decor.. my families meals came first while I waited for about 7 mins or so for mine.. food was not bad but not exceptional.. reception staff could have been friendlier and more welcoming, our waiter however was friendly and genuine.

Best service, waiter was very friendly and always there when needed. Provided many options and great for vegetarians. Highly recommended best Italian in London area.

Excellent service that was well-paced, and excellent food. Tables were also well spaced, so a good venue for business lunches as well as private occasions.

Fabulous food, drinks, service, ambiance. Our wine was corked, and sommellier agreed, and as way of apologising, offered a bottle on him. Excellent. No arguing, no poor service after. Wonderful experience

Great authentic Italian restaurant, fabulous food and what looked like great homemade pizza too. Slightly on the expensive side, but it is in the heart of Mayfair!

The staff are friendly and very helpful and the food is good but our experience from our first time was very different we dressed nicely for what we thought was a pleasant evening (8.30pm) but we were surrounded by children, people who wouldn't take of all things hats and coats off and worst of all someone who just strolled in wearing gym shorts...but he had a jacket. OK call me a prude and maybe I need to change with the world (little chance) but you know this is what also makes a good restaurant into an excellent restaurant...dress code !!

Expensive pizza but ok as Mayfair. Otherwise it is a beautiful restaurant with knowledgeable staff. This is a good place to go with with colleagues.

Service was excellent, food was delicious! Drinks very expensive (or so I thought) but we are not from London so not used to those sorts of prices! Also would normally only tip 10% but they add a 12.5% compulsory charge to the bill. Lovely atmosphere.

The food was excellent, and I couldn't fault the service or the venue. Although a little pricey, we were in Mayfair so to be expected.

The restaurant is set in a basement so there are no window seats. The chairs are very low. The best tables are set for a group of people but not for two. Despite of all above the food was tasty, good choice of wines. And the service is relatively fast.

Good food, great wine selection. The restaurant itself was absolutely beautiful. Room for improvement on service as I did not receive a check back but would definitely recommend. All staff very friendly and happy to offer advice with good knowledge of the menu.

The food was made and presented. The service was good and the waiters very professional and friendly. A little noisy so not easy conversation was a little strained across the table.

Service was great, food was great! I recommend the veal Milanese, that was bigger than my face! And for dessert the profiteroles! The pizzas are also amazing!!

Fantastic atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, delicious cocktails food ( the best olives ever, primavera risotto delicious and generous portion) Staff friendly and welcoming. Just one small misunderstanding ( remedied) hence not a 6.

The service was exceptional. Italian food done the right way - simple, fresh and delicious! I would come back again. Decor is contemporary and simple with an easy, casual atmosphere.

Food was very good - classic Italian fare, lots of fresh and vibrant ingredients. Shame the service was not as fresh and vibrant. Also, the coffee machine was out of order, so we were unable to finish the meal in the classic Italian fashion.

Boccocino was everything I expected from a high-end Italian restaurant - super friendly Italian staff, great food and great service. Although pricey I don't mind paying for great service and food so our experience was first class. We hope to return.

Great food, good atmosphere, however, service was a little slow at times and waiters had to be prompted and reminded a couple of times in order to clear the table.

Friendly reception staff and waiters were attentive but not intrusive. Food very well presented and good size portions. Excellent wine list. The only criticism would be that there was only one toilet( disabled) in the upstairs dining area which would be difficult for people with problems to access as there wasn't a lift that I could see. However, despite this, would recommend.

The service was excellent. The food was great. People were wonderful when you walked in the door. Just an excellent restaurant We loved it It is a great place to have a meal.

The service wasn't the best considering the rating of the restaurant and being in heart of mayfair. It was difficult to get staff attention and they seemed in a rush to get us to leave the restaurant even though the restaurant was empty and it was only 8pm! Also the staff at reception couldn't find the booking even after showing the confirmation email and considering the restaurant was so empty so didn't see what the big deal was anyway. The food was decent but nothing special, i think we had just expected better quality of food. Also me and my friends are vegetarian and there were no V markings on menu - which really helps.

This is a modern Italian cuisine restaurant with a welcoming feeling and atmosphere with Excellent service and warm feeling, the food was excellent and the wateriness and staff were very helpful, would go again 5*****
