Fantastic food and great service!! The staff couldn’t do enough for us. Will defo be visiting again
Love it. Always and forever. Keep it up. Thank you.
Fabulous food and service. Very stylish, a hidden gem. Thank you
Beautifully restaurant. Friendly experienced staff. Food overpriced and fish overcooked. Not a patch on crab shack in Teignmouth who gets a 6 everytime we visit.
Very welcoming and attentive staff the lobster that we ordered was very nice and cooked beautifully but a bit small
Food and service was amazing very much recommend this place to people
First time we have been go the blu lobster but we will certainly be back.
Sunday lunch was very good, properly cooked veg and tasty Yorkshire pudding. Starter, mussels were sweet succulent and tasty. Great value for money overall.
First visit, will definitely go back, got the platter to share, delicious. The waitress was very pleasant and the view from the window seat was great.
Absolutely superb food and service All the staff were incredibly helpfull
Excellent service and very welcoming We had chosen the seafood platter to share Absolutely faultless. Very satisfied All round good quality of food ,Good service and lovely atmosphere 10 out of 10
Fantastic food, great service, lovely atmosphere. First time visitors, will be back for more of the amazing Fish Pie.
Food was amazing, staff were fantastic! They couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a lovely time. Will definitely be back again soon!
over 1/2 hour between courses...too long. Stairs to steep for older people, when I got to the top of the stairs, I was told I could have eaten down stairs, a bit to late, since I was up the stairs with a bit of a stuggle.
Lovely meal excellent Yorkshire puddings cauliflower and broccoli under cooked.
Had a fabulous birthday with my husband everything was perfect food, view and staff.
Great restaurant, well worth a visit and so local to us.
Young girl serving us this lunchtime was excellent. Fabulous food too.
Food was amazing and the service was excellent, be definitely going again in the near future it's a must for anybody who has never been before.
Staff where very attentive and made some good suggestions. The food was fantastic. We had the sharing platter for 2 which contained lobster, tiger prawns, scallops, squid, fish fillets and softshell crab as well as 2 sides. About time hartlepool has a decent restaurant .
Fabulous food , service and ambience but a bit too pricey
Absolutely beautiful food and atmosphere. Reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning. Staff were brilliant.
Food was superb and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended
Lovely restaurant with great decor and even better food! We had the sharing board, would highly recommend
Staff are welcoming and lovely. Amazing food and decor! Will definitely be visiting again
We had saved our first visit to coincide with our wedding anniversary we picked a wet and windy cold evening but that was soon dispelled as soon as we walked up the stairs we had a lovely warm reception from the staff who were so helpful on menu selection, to the food my wife had baked cod I had surf and turf on arrival it looked good enough to be pictured in any cook book and it tasted as good as it looked, we where quite full after cleaning our plates but decided to chance a sweet and what a delight all well worth the visit, would we go back, most definately yes.
Sunday lunch was fantastic really tasty the meat was perfectly cooked. Staff and service was very good. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
Great food. We had the seafood sharing platter, it was more than enough for the 2 of us. They also had steak and chicken on the menu for those who don’t like seafood. Service was excellent. An unexpected gem, well worth a visit.
Sunday lunch is superb red hot . Just the right amount and so tasty . Sticky toffee pudding to die for . Will b back soon .
Great food & great service. A lovely spot for some great seafood. We will definitely be back!
Food was excellent, the service was very good and the surroundings and atmosphere were very pleasant. A little on the pricey side but a very good evening out.
very nice food - great service - chips are lovely - shame no steak pie on but enjoyed meal anyway - mussels were cooked to perfection
The food was excellent and the staff were really attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend it.
Absolutely amazing Sunday lunch! Staff go above and beyond for you.. can’t wait to return!
service was excellent, amazing food, the perfect Mother’s day lunch!
Amazing food and service , amazing quirky place too! Brilliant
Sadly the restaurant was a chef down on our visit this evening and this coupled with some poor communication meant a long wait between courses and in fact one main course was forgotten and diner left to eat after everyone else in party had finished. Staff very apologetic and given late main course and sides for free. Will try again as hopefully this was just a one off problem. Shame though as was a treat for mother’s day :(
Lovely ambience and decor. Food was faultless. Not cheap but in my experience you get what you pay for and was wirth every penny!
Been previously and commented on how good the food was and the staff so took some friends along .Had starter which was ok and then ordered 3 surf and turfs (2 prawns 1 lobster) had to send all 3 back because the steaks were cold .Staff were helpful but when food returned it was as if the food had been reheated in a microwave or the we were assured it had been done properly we all sent it back again and didmt have a main course .Wine was nice but will not be returning which is a shame as it could have been a great place to take off in Hartlepool .The prices of some of the dishes are bit expensive and could also be reviewed but I was willing to pay if the quality is there but it seems to have disappeared
Prawn cocktail starter average, sauce very watery and no bread, we I understand it takes time to cook meals when using fresh ingredients but waited ages for fish pie main course to arrive no denying it was a fish pie but normally fish pie topped with potatoes this had pastry top think that should have been mentioned in description again we sat and waited ages for waitress to return to clear main course plates as we were going to have desserts and coffee but she never returned heard her on the phone presumably to Fish & Chip shop below telling them she had 2 customers in and when they went she would come down and help them so we realised we were holding proceedings up so paid and left without desserts or coffee. We booked for 1.30pm got there 10 mins early and the last booking time was 1.45pm so they must know how long it takes for customers to eat a 3 course meal if they wanted to close early the should not take bookings at 1.30pm we were very disappointed and would not return.
Lobster and Greens excellent very tasty. Chips a little hard in places. Cheese Board a little disappointing over priced.
Food was perfect and the staff were very friendly and helpful
Cozy atmosphere, attentive service and great food that was reasonably priced.
Amazing food and service! Best restaurant in Hartlepool by a mile.
we have a lovely meal we both ate all of it and the service was wonderful. 100% will return.
Sunday lunch at 3pm in a lovely styled restaurant , prompt and friendly service, all four of us chose the three meat trio traditional Sunday lunch, the food was very tasty and came with additional gravy, well recommended.
Amazing food, great decor and lovely service by Grace. Will definitely be going again.
We went with friends that had come to visit - hadn't seen them for a year. We were unaware that there was live music on, which was very loud so it made conversation almost impossible. I had to ask the waitress to repeat what she was saying several times. Although I really enjoyed my meal as did one of my friends, the 2 ladies who had plumped for paella both thought the rice was over cooked and gluppy. It also had chipolata saausages which I think were thrown in as an after thought. I would visit again as I thought my meal was good - but not on a music night, unless the sound was more controlled.
Beautiful Sunday dinner, it was amazing. Will definately return soon
