Food was delicious and good size portions. Server was really friendly and helpful.

Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Food of very high standard, men appreciated the beef pie for mains, but starter portions of crispy beef was very large. Therefore unable to manage a dessert.

We meet here quite often and the staff make you feel very welcome. Good parking. Good food.

Had to search for kids menus ourselves rather than handed upon arrival. One meal was delivered overdone. Replacement provided but meant had to wait over 10mins whilst others enjoyed their food (and on birthday too!). Staff were generally helpful and pleasant.

We had an amazing Sunday lunch. Staff as always are very pleasant. Yes it is noisy but then its what you expect for a family restaurant. We have been a few times and always have a delicious meal.

It was my wife's birthday, but clearly there was also a large (noisy) birthday party. Much better two years ago, for our 25th anniversary - but we have happy memories of the Blackbird, and we are local.

Everything was really good and we will be back However I did have the parma ham and melon starter that seemed to be minus the Parma ham? The waiting staff didn't have a clue why ? The head waiter ? ...offered us a refund which was really nice . All in all nice afternoon, good food and pleasent staff . thanks Cath

My first visit and certainly not my last. Food excellent, service and staff extremely efficient and helpful. Being a Sunday and very busy this did not impinge on service or waiting time. Very easy to book on line.
