Food and service were fantastic! The Philly steak sandwich is amazing. The ham and cheese croquettes starters are absolutely delicious too.

Usually really good here but I just don’t rate the roasts very much for the quality of the dish against the price for the roast I wouldn’t choose the roast again, the amount of meat on the pork belly roast was very minimal and considering this pub is within walking distance from our house we really like to go here rather than a larger chain restaurant. Cannot fault the Gin menu!

Great food, Good atmosohere, busier than I expected. No light above our table as in corner, so slightly darker than we would of liked. But food makes up for what was a all round good dinjng ecperience. Would recommend.

Two of us ordered scallops as a starter and we both thought it was a lot of money for the amount we got i did tell the waitress, but i wouldn't hold that against you because the rest of the meal was excellent

There was a large party in the garden but this did not stop the food and service being excellent. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. We will be returning soon to work our way through the gin menu!

Our meals ( three fish and chips and one Bird burger) were well cooked, hot and the portion size was ample. We visited on a Friday lunchtime and it was actually quite quiet as only a handful of tables were occupied. Our only criticism would be that the two cappuccinos were not very hot. The service was good, prompt and friendly, but the restaurant was very quiet.
