Great food, lovely atmosphere - parking was lucky as two people left as we arrived. Busy car park is a good sign though!!

Totally wonderful friendly staff and atmosphere, food was absolutely delicious.

Friendly staff and very helpful in a fairly busy restuarant with both inside and outside tables to serve. Waiting time between courses can therefore become a little stretched. Food good though and reasonably priced

Sunday roasts here are delicious. Would definitely recommend. Wish they'd change up the dessert menu though as I'm not sure the choices have changed since the pub reopened.

Waitress and chef went to particular trouble to construct a meal for my guest who has many different allergies - thank you.

The food was fantastic! One of the best meals we've had in a long time.

We attended as a family. I had the bird in hand burger ; the burger was succulent , however it could do with a signature sauce such as a chutney. Other members of the family had fish and chips which was excellent and the Cumberland sausage which was superb with very tasty pieces of black pudding and a nice delicious mash.

We had a very pleasant visit sitting in the garden which was not too crowded so not noisy! A slight complaint: chips were rather soft and the coffee though tasty was not warm enough. We enjoyed our visit .....

Lovely, tasty food. The prices were very reasonable. Dessert (banana split) was unreal! Missus had pork roast, I had the burger and I was definitely a bit jealous - still everything was great, including the staff and service, friendly and fast. Would definitely recommend

Really sorry but you have lost the plot. Used to be the best pub in the area but not anymore. Give it a miss

Air conditioning was a bit too high appreciate it was a hot day but the restaurant was quite chilly.

This is a spot where a friend and I meet for lunch, I do think the menu needs a little bit of an update, but the food quality is always good, I was not happy with my café Latte it was far too strong.

Staff overstretched at Sunday lunch time. Very noisy, a large number of people in quite a small room. On three occasions we had to ask to be served. Fortunately the food was very good.

We ate early so the restaurant was very quiet, hence only 4 stars for atmosphere. The food was excellent and whilst we were there they wrote the specials on the board which seemed great value for money. Food was fresh cooked and some interesting menu choices. We'll definitely be going back!

Excellent all round although they have removed the favourite liver and bacon from the main menu! Apparently, I am not the only one to have an issue with thiS.
