Visited Berringtons for the first time this weekend for breakfast with my dad, his first meal out post lock down. Staff were brilliant with us, felt very safe and food was delicious! Dad enjoyed his full English, in particular the bacon chop! And my Cornish crab eggs benedict was divine! Will be back soon.

Amazing food, great drinks, cosy atmosphere and friendly faces serving.

We was one of 2 tables at the venue. Food was poor, burnt toast, sausages burnt, not just charred, charcoal! No kids menu but when asking for a smaller breakfast we was served 1 sausage and burnt sourdough. Nobody asked how our food was until we asked for the bill.

Berrington's is a really good addition to the local restaurant scene. The look and feel of the place is great and the service was very engaging. There was a bit of a wait for our food which, given our table was at 9, meant we were very hungry by the time the starters arrived. We also hadn't fully appreciated that the food is smoked over wood, and my wife's not a big fan of smoked food. So overall we thought it was good rather than great.

Brilliant, best breakfast in the area! Would fully recommend. The sign of a great steak is when you can cut it with a normal knife and this was easily achieved.

Fabulous breakfast at Berrington’s. The new restaurant decor is beautiful, service was excellent as was the food and presentation. Love the branded crockery. Can’t wait to return for dinner!

The service was awesome, layout was great. We had the sourdough with bone marrow butter to start. This was incredible. I had the ribeye steak and my husband had the lamb. All of the food was perfectly cooked and extremely tasty. Fantastic wine selection too. Highly recommend.

I would eat here ever night if I could. Amazing food, service, decor, music. Everything was spot on. Had the best night and already booked to return and will again and again. Brilliant!

For our first outing out of lockdown I can honestly say it couldn’t have been a better experience. All staff were completely adhering to the hygiene of rules yet tall managed to create a lovely atmosphere. The food was impeccable! The best steak tartare I have eaten in a long time and the steaks were cooked to perfection. We are so happy for them on their new venture, already can’t wait to go back!

We really enjoyed our Brunch. Had misread the advertising and hadn't realised that only Brunch was served up 'til 2.00p.m. Nevertheless we very much enjoyed it. So mus so that we have booked stable for next Sunday evening to enjoy the full menu Can't wait to get at that cheese board!!! So much appreciated the staff and their attentiveness.

Excellent new restaurant in South Liverpool. Food, service and atmosphere were all great. Will definitively go back. We had oysters, tuna tartare and sworsfish with a nice bottle of Chablis.

We dined from the brunch menu and had an amazing dining experience! We will definitely be back to try the evening menu soon!
