Had a lovely meal. The food was very nice and the staff were very attentive good value for money we will definately be returning again.

Really nice. We did the 2steaks and bottle wine for £25. I had to send mine back because the steak was cold, and as it was rare, I could understand. But when returnd it was really good. Chips great. Would recommend

Lovely food, good service and a warm inviting environment. Well pleased overall, can heartily recommend this place as a destination for a good meal . Decent wine list as well.

Food was lovely and very reasonable priced, staff were friendly and customer service was good, felt very welcomed. The only thing that seemed rushed was before we had taken off our coats and sat down, they asked us what drink we wanted.

All the service and food was fine except part of my meal was cold. otherwise they would have been given a higher rating. Will certainly go again. Hoping to see improvement.

Well I must say that I was very disappointed with Bennets Restaurant. We went as a family of 3 generations and we all had the same meal which was Braised Steak with onions and gravy, Seasonal Vegetables, mashed potatoes and peas. The food came with the smallest bit of potato that tasted like Smash, peas that tasted like tinned, not an onion in site, no seasonal veg, hardly any meat and a whole load of sauce. Whilst we all ate it cos we'd waited over 40 minutes for it to arrive it set our mouths on fire all we could taste was pepper! Service was slack too waited 15 mins before our order was taken, 40 mins for the food and then quite a while before the table was cleared. When waitress was told it was too peppery she wasn't interested. Because of the small amount of food served, 2 of my party opted for pudding. They both had Apple Pie and custard which were cold! I'm sure others will have been and enjoyed it but for us it was rubbish and i wouldn't ever go again.

Really nice environment and atmosphere, with friendly staff. Had a Christmas party dinner ,food was good ,but felt it was all a bit rushed .could have done with a few minutes between courses. Entertainment was excellent Overall a really good party night , refreshing to have such a lovely restaurant locally.

We received excellent service here. The meal, although not particularly exciting, was nicely presented and well cooked. I am going for lunch there again,so it can't be bad!

Excellent evening thoroughly enjoyed by us all. There was a welcoming" feel good" atmosphere for what was a damp January evening in Long Eaton. Great food (steak cooked to perfection), wine and service which we'd all recommend.

Lovely place and very good service, the food was done exactly how we asked for it e.g. We don't like seasoned chips so they did them without pepper for us. The only tiny criticism was that a chocolate mint with coffee or tea would have been nice. Will certainly visit again.

Fab food in a lovely environment with great staff and an excellent wine list - Food is extremely reasonably priced and the portion sizes are excellent.

Attentive but not intrusive service, and really good value, quality, well-presented food from starters right through to pudding. Good atmosphere and overall enjoyable experience - will recommend to others!

although we booked in advance it seemed very busy. Some of the plates didn't quite work with the food presented, ?did they run out of the usual plates. Portion sizes seemed to vary also, 2 steak meals arrived on different plates and one plate had less chips/peas - good for the waistline but both plates cost the same. Previous visits have been better, can only assume they were very busy.

Went for a Sunday lunch And it was fantastic Quick service in a relaxed atmosphere even though the restaurant looked full Highley recommended Advised you book in advance to avoid disappointment

Good wine list. Fab, friendly service. Nice decor (lighting too bright if I am being really picky). Food was really nice. We will be back.

Nice welcoming atmosphere you are able to sit at the bar and have a drink before having a meal if you wish you are not rushed. staff very pleasent and food was great Great. we will be returning.

Sunday lunch with the family was a real treat, lots of choice on the menu and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The apple pie and custard pudding was particularly good. The staff were lovely. We will be visiting again.

We had a lovely evening. The waitresses were polite and even though my steak had to go back because it was not to my taste they replaced it without any fuss for another which was melted in my mouth. We will definitely go back

The food was excellent and priced competitively. A few things stopped it scoring higher; Lighting could have been softer Background music was missing Staff were helpful but a uniform would have added to an upmarket feel

Nice place, however I had quiche and chips and homemade coleslaw - that came in the most tiniest pot - less than a tablespoon of coleslaw in total! The quiche had a soggy bottom, a shame as the place is so nice needs to work on food as its not bad value if they upped the food.

Five of us enjoyed a Sunday lunch at Bennett's Restaurant and we all enjoyed the experience. This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised. We will be going again.

Food very good, varied menu at reasonable prices. Particularly liked the choice of starters. Friendly helpful staff. Clean contempory surroundings. Would recommend and certainly return.

Great place to eat, lovely ambience/food/well priced/staff very polite - we were a party of 6 and all enjoyed the meal, we will be back.

Was looking forward to my visit for my wife's birthday and had heard many good reports .. unfortunately we were very rushed no sooner had we finished our starter the main was on the table .. finished main the bill was on the table food was very standard for the price not happy defo won't be rushing back

Simple, delicious food with super friendly staff. A very down to earth atmosphere in clean surroundings. Both food & drinks are excellent value for money

The surrounding were excellent as was the back ground music. It was just the right volume and content was appropriate for the age group of myself and the other customers. The staff were friendly and polite and most important the food was excellent. Looking forward to my next visit

Food was excellent and friendly staff, no complaints what so ever, we will definitely be going back again soon. The only draw back is the carpark entrance having to go all the way down double parked streets to get to it, but we still give it 10/10.

The whole meal was very good, my friends and I had no complaints, the service was prompt and the lager was ice cold. What topped off a very pleasant occasion was the size of the bill ,which I thought was very reasoable. A final point, the hotel has its own car park at the rear. I will definitely recommend this venue.

We were met by a lovely lady who showed us around. Then we had drinks and the table was ready. We had a very good meal and would go again.

Second visit. Super friendly staff and soul satisfying food for Sunday lunch. Generous size portions so you definitely won't leave feeling hungry. Nice atmosphere which whilst busy wasn't hectic

the food and customer service were both very good. The owner was happy to show us the bedrooms above the restaurant as we showed an interest in possible future bookings.

Sorry we were unable to go as mother was not well enough but we did ring and cancel and the person on the phone thanked us for letting them know and was very polite

We went on a Weds and had the two steaks and a bottle of wine deal for £25. It was brilliant value for money, the steak was cooked to requirements and the service was excellent. Will definitely return.

The service & food were excellent. Also had a Malbec wine which is our favourite. We have already booked a table for four people for August 5th.

We picked Bennetts at random from a Google search as a good halfway point to meet a cousin. Good choice. Good service, good decor, everywhere spotless, very friendly and helpful staff.. Excellent food at a very reasonable price. I'm told that the Ladies toilets are exceptional too.

Very nice place and the staff were very polite, food was nice it was more than we would normally pay but it was a birthday celebration, no complaints really would recommend this place to everyone wanting something special in this area.

Very good and efficient service, helpful staff in a nice environment. The evening menu was not extensive but it was varied, there was also a good range of drinks.

Food was really good - very large portions and done to a high standard. The prices were also very reasonable, particularly for a seafood dish.

Excellent service, pleasant environment. There were 4 of us and we had the Seniors set menu. The choice was good and the food was delicious. We definitely hope to return.
