Delicious meal with good service. The dishes we had were all so finely spiced that you could appreciate the individual flavours. Lively atmosphere if a little noisy. The only downside is the cramped area at the entrance and bar while waiting for our table.

Despite being extremely busy on New Year's Eve, we had a great meal accompanied by very good service. We shall certainly return in the not too distant future.

Staff were very polite but we had to wait a bit too long to place our order even though it wasn't busy. Food was not that tasty and quite expensive. I have been before and had a much better experience.

Great food, as usual with friendly and efficient service. The ladies in our party were given a small present on leaving - a nice touch for Christmas.

On arrival very good, shown to table.Felt a bit rushed from then on.I ordered boiled rice which was lumpy, i should have sent it back but food overall very good.On leaving nobody thank us for our custom it was very busy but a thank you would have been nice.

We had a lovely evening at the Bengal Brasserie. The interior is open and spacious, the food was brilliant as was the service. We will be going again.

Food at Bengal is always fantastic ,full of flavour and plenty of variety. The staff are just as good always very welcoming and very accommodating ,enough break given between courses ,smiling and polite.

Waiters seemed a bit disorganised at first but in the end were very good. The starter was excellent the main course seemed to lack flavour Chiken Korai but tasted fresh. The saff were very nice, sweet and coffee were nice, complimentary drink was a nice gesture. Will try again with a different dish next time.

Great food and service. Table not ready when we arrived though which was disappointing but staff very apologetic. Will definitely be back in the future!

Lovely food but awful service! Very surly and plates literally plonked in front of us. No smiles at all. I know they were busy (it was a race night) but it was early (6pm).

We did not enjoy our visit, you had obviously over-booked. We were rushed into ordering, rushed out to finish, the hot plates were not hot, the food was cold when it arrived and even colder long before we finished. We were recommended to go, but will not be recommending anyone else. Alan Draper

First time here. Four of us dined having booked a table for 9.15 on a very busy Saturday night. We were not seated until 35 minutes later but enjoyed a drink at the bar. Once seated food steadily came over an our and a half and it was excellent in every regard. Staff pleasant but a bit stressed. We will definitely return but hopefully on a quieter night.

I love this restaurant. The food is always high quality and service is unobtrusive and friendly. The staff remembered us even though we hadn't been for ages - its these little things that make a difference.

It was a very busy night and as a result the service suffered. We were a table of 3 and it would have been nice if just one of our courses could have arrived at the table at the same time. The food was as always good.

Went for my Birthday as Wetherby is a half way point for some of us. Restaurant was very busy so obviously it is very popular. The meal was excellent and there was plenty for each portion. Reasonably priced.

After waiting 15 minutes for our table that had been booked the waiters were very attentive and the first course came quickly and it was lovely. Overall the food was very tasty and we enjoyed our experience !!!

Excellent service and the food is wonderful. We booked for a family of four and both the children enjoyed it too. We would definitely recommend.

Excellent food and waiters . Waiter even made a sauce for me to try something a bit spicier. We will defo be returning here. They do take away too

Food was fine. Service a little rushed and restaurant was very noisy. Wouldn't go back in a hurry. Staff very pleasant though and standard of cleanliness was high.

Great friendly staff. We were late getting to the Restraurant but but they were great about it. The food and service was excellent. I will diffidently recommend it to my family and friends.

Rushed service and poorly presented food that looked like the contents of a steak and kidney pie. Over spiced and lacked subtlety. Very disapoointed, will not return

Great food, great service - will definitely be back! We especially liked the tandoori lamb chops and the onion bhajis - simple things but really well done.

The food is excellent, served piping hot, and the portions are huge - I had to ask for a 'doggy bag' last time. The staff are attentive without being overbearing and the service is prompt but we never felt rushed. The place is always buzzing. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Indian food, good service and a lively atmosphere.
