Great place, very nice reception and very nice staff, wine was excellent and food up to expectation, for sure a plece you would choose to make an impression along its very sound quality. Will Return!!!
Excellent food, good service sith informed waiters. Loud, Pricey and we had to give the table back before dessert... but will be returning soon..this weekend actually!
I would highly recommend The Beast because the atmosphere was lovely you wasn’t rushed and felt very valued as a customer, the food was amazing and the service was brilliant.
The food and the service was great. I would love to have more Italian red wines to select from.
Amazing location and decor. Fantastic menu and food was good. Sadly though the service was slow slow slow. Waited almost 1.5hrs for food. Sure it was busy but it ruined the night.
Excellent meal, fantastic service and gorgeous restaurant ! Best steak I've eaten and the service was perfect, not rushed, informative and presentation was very special.
Perfect. Simply perfect. Exceptional quality and taste complemented by great staff and great service. Not the first time there, but it would top my list for many times to come.
Amazing food and wine!! Pricy but worth the splurge on a special occasion. I would definitely recommend to friends in London or visiting. Just do it and you won’t regret it. Crab and steak combo to die for.
Great food and service thanks everything was brought at an timely manner and everyone was very friendly Thank you for the wonderful experiece will defientley come again
The overall dining experience was great except the waitress overestimated how much we could eat. We ended up leaving decent amount of steak. Their porterhouse steak was exceptional.
beef tartaki was amazing Truffle chips were really good too Very good meal except for dessert. Dessert was boring, had the cheesecake and the peanut flavoured dessert.
Excellent food, attentive service. The Galician ribeye was succulent. Crab legs were cocked to perfection and all sides were delicious too. Would definitely come back.
Very enjoyable evening out with two friends at Beast. Food was excellent but incredibly expensive. The crab and steaks were beautifully fresh and well cooked and the wine was very drinkable. Staff were extremely accommodating and the vibe in this cavernous but strangely intimate basement made for an great evening out. My main criticism is the price as we paid close to £500 for three people. One for the corporate entertainers I’m afraid.
Very nice service and attention combined with personal attitude. Well done and also excellent food both the crab and the meat. We will for sure come back to enjoy this nice restaurant.
Excellent service the staff were very friendly and attentive, lovely ambience. The food was delicious the steaks were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. The sides were very tasty highly recommend the asparagus, bone marrow and broccoli. One of the best steak places we've eaten in but it is quite pricey.
A really great experience, the food was exceptional, especially the crab! the service was also very very good, thank you and we will be back!!!
Cheesecake is really good! And I like the beef. All in all a good place to go, though a bit noisy.( but it’s acceptable since we went on Friday night)
Can't fault the food and service. Seating arrangement a bit like an army mess, long benches ,no individual tables, bit strange at first but it sort of works. If your have wine starter and crab and steak for two have at least £400 to hand.
Amazing food and service, I would strongly recommend going to Beast. A fantastic experience. Just make sure you've got plenty of cash 😊As it's not a cheap night out, but still worth spending the money.
Excellent restaurant. Amazing steak & crab. Staff really excellent. Brilliant atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this place....and you get to see the crabs in the tanks.
The food, in particular the crab, was delicious and the service fantastic. Beast has a great environnent . We will come back and recommend for sure
Best taking crab and steak ever! Perfectly cooked. Chips were also amazing with th me truffle dip. An expensive meal out and the 12.5% gratuity was a bit steep but the food was first class.
Nice place, but way over priced for the portion sizes. This creates immediate dis satisfaction and no reason to return given great choice in London. We are discerning customers and have eaten at the best restaurants globally. And have had far better priced king crab legs of equal quality!! 3 gyoza on a plate for £14 was an insult and the king crab legs were tasty however ridiculously over priced. Resulting in a would not return or recommend. A shame because it could have been a regular dining spot for us.
Great atmosphere, excellent food and super service. Would definitely recommend returning and bringing other clients for future client lunches. Perfect wine selection for all tastes
The food was amazing, though quite pricy pricy. The interior and decor is really cool, but it was a little too loud in the restaurant.
Our initial reaction was there wasn't much of an atmosphere, it seemed quite empty for a Friday Lunchtime. It's also the first time i've had the menu explained to me in so much depth, rather than clearing things up regarding cuts and sizes of steak we were all left more confused as to what to order. Despite that, the starters and mains were great, a lot of the sides were over powered by Truffle and the fact they only had two cheeses left for the cheese board was slightly dissapointing. 4 out of 6!
It was a great experience, but I felt both the meat and lobster was tough! Not the best food I’ve had. But overall it was above average
the restaurant had a great atmosphere and food; but the service was over attentive (I.e. the waitress interrupted our conversation too much) and it was clearly too expensive.
Excellent Galician Steak, eat it all the way to my grave. Great service, great food, great Bear, he's massive and likes him some Paisley. Bo!
Beast is a great restaurant with very friendly staff , good selection of wine and food. Beef is done at a very high performance and crab is just delicious. Although price is also high
Great food, ambiance and service. Hope to go again soon. Some of the beast steak I’ve had in London and the truffle chips were awesome.
Unbilievable meat. Don't miss it. In the center of London, a great place, really a fantastic wine list and a meat you will ne ero forget.
Overall an amazing experience at The Beast. My partner and I truly indulged on our shared 600g of Galician Chateaubriand steak done medium rare. The oysters for starters were fresh. Our Thursday night dinner had a great ambience. We liked the decor of the restaurant and the staff were polite and engaging. The service was straightforward and not overpowering, with our dishes coming at a timely order. The only dish that we didn't enjoy is the crab and foie gras gyoza, the foie gras simply masked any sweetness and shellfish flavour that we should have got from the crab. This made the gyoza taste quite bland and the texture a bit heavy. The presentation of the gyoza was also amateurish, just looked like 3 dumplings sliding around a big plate. Apart from that I would definitely return for steak but actually I am planning to return for the shellfish! My dinner rating is more 5.5 out of 6.
It is the worst quality for value I experienced in my life. Everything comes either over cooked or undercooked. Nobody has any clue about food or wine. And yet super expensive prices. Frankly it should be avoided at any cost unless you're drunk and want to enjoy a nice place and a beautiful crowd with vodka on the rocks.
Wonderful everytime we go when we visit London Delicious food very good service good wine list lively vibe of the place when ever we go
Great restaurant....amazing food and service . We are quite well travelled and have eaten in some very good restaurants but this rates as one of the very best. Yes it's expensive but well worth it.
This place is amazing. The atmosphere, the service and most importantly the food are all top notch. Its not cheap but definitely worth every penny
The meal was very good. Meat was fantastic and seafood starters blew my mind. Wine was pricy for the quality (Bourgogne) but service was very slow despite us being the only people in the restaurant for lunch.
Hi I didn't find the meat specially different from other 5* steak restaurants. The minimum 2 per cut is an inconvenient restriction Floor dirty. Show kitchen messy, not as a style, just messy. Fish tanks at entrance are unattractive. Medium+ Chateaubriand was cooked medium rare. No one to give us the jackets back while leaving. Hostess was gone. Barman came out to get them. Thank you, Alan
The food was nice, but massivley overpriced for what it was. Over £600 for 4 people, £73 of which was for a crab claw and leg!
Good food bit overpriced. Not a big fan of Wagamama like long tables forcing you to sit next to strangers and having to yell across the eagle to communicate given noise levels.
Incredible food, setting and service. Must get the crab!! The wine list is also impressive. Best restaurant I have been to in London. Highly recommend.
The most friendly staff catered for all our needs and the food was incredibly good in a nice warm, chilled atmosphere. Would highly recommend Beast!!!😍
Lady at the reception wasn't helpful. But still love this plave because of nice Ambience, fantastic food and great choice of wine. Definitely among my most favourite places in London.
Excellent food! Go hungry. Great service and ambiance! Presentation of food was fantastic. Wine menu selection was extensive. If you like meet and crab, this is your place.
Most of the smaller steaks were unavailable as they were 'aging' so we had to share a 1kg steak between three of us, which was fine in principle until it came. Was mostly unpleasant, chewy fat, not enough meat to feed three. Seafood was way overpriced. £130 per kilo for crab, the smallest crab being 3kg! Again between 3 people it's a couple of legs each for £130 per head. That's poor value. For a high end restaurant, the communal seating concept doesn't fit although an Empty restaurant in central London on a Friday night says it all. Service was also questionable, had to ask for the menu to be explained, and even then, the waitress didn't do a great job of it as the menus has the head line prices but the boards state what is available, so one is left cross referencing between the menu and the blackboards. Sorry Beast, I won't be coming again, I was embarrassed to have taken my out of town colleagues to your restaurant.
Great venue, great staff, great menu, great wine, awesome meat! Galician chateaubriand cooked to perfection and perfect sides. Very quiet today and I might prefer option of private table.
The best meat we've had. The chips are gorgeous too. Don't bother with the starters though - except the shrimp tempura. Finish off with the cinnamon doughnuts. I will be going there again - have to try the crabs!!
Amazing. Brilliant food and the service was incredible. Had crab and steak which was wonderful and Greek wine which was a real surprise. Thank you beast
Beef was excellent as too was the wine. Didn't think much of the starters which were very expensive and not really that good. Overall a good night.
