Excellent service and great food, good prices, highly recommend. Nice place to enjoy an evening in the underground restaurant. Easy to book and they were very attentive.
The food and surroundings are very good, and the service generally quite good also. It was just that they were not ready when we arrived.
Lovely experience. Had to book using a keypad from phone so couldn't get the actual time we wanted to be there. But great when we got there :)! Greeted well, delicious food, attentive service. Definitely go there again.
Wonderful menu, great service & lovely cellar setting. No phone signal which we think is great, everyone is talking to each other. We will certainly be back :-)
First time visit, expected to be quiet on a mid week evening, but surprisingly busy which suggests consistent quality. Quirky, charming venue in a beautiful period building. Very courteous welcome, good service throughout the meal, food hot and tasty.
First visit here and what a find. Lovely waft of spice greets you as you open the front door, miserable wet and cold evening outside and immediately begin to feel better as you go down the stairs. much larger menu than I had expected, not always a good sign, but some really different sounding dishes. I played safe with a Jalfrezi, and the other half had a chicken with tamarind. both absolutely delicious and the Tarka Dall was just superb. Starters were probably unnecessary as portions are generous. Good service, pleasant ambience and atmosphere, tables not too tightly packed, just an excellent evening. definitely coming back.
Reliably good food and friendly service. More green vegetable dishes on the menu would be welcome. Unfortunately we were too full to have any dessert.
Lovely food and great service - had the chicken jalfrezi which had just the right amount of chilies. Being in the cellar is cool too.
There is no other Indian like this one. The food is as uncoloured and natural as possible. The flavours amazing. Instead of sticking to 2 types of food I am working my way through the menu. We just love this place and the staff are excellent. It is a bit of a hidden gem.
Delicious food and a very interesting location (historic cellar underground). We had a lovely meal -- be sure to try all of the recommended dishes on the menu!
