As always a fantastic meal in nice surroundings and good service. Lots of chefs specials to try Best Indian restaurant in the area by far!

As always, one of the best curries ever. The food is always freshly cooked and delivered to the table steaming hot. Easy parking, friendly service.

Me and my wife had some really nice food, reasonably priced as well especially the wine. Not many restaurants sell wine for under £14 a bottle. Nice decor.

Great food, great service. The best Indian restaurant around the Park Gate / Locksheath area. Never go anywhere else! And booking tables now on Quandoo is so easy!

Great food thoroughly enjoyed it would highly recommend this place to others. Only downside was soft drinks were a little flat but they replaced these for us Can't wait to come back here again next year

The food is always good in the Basmati but the service can be a little hit and miss. It starts well with food and drinks orders. Goes down hill when food is bought out to the table and cleared. It can be a fun experience and one that normally makes us laugh.

Very polite and warm welcome, no rush made us also feel important. I was impressed how they treated us all. The food was excellent and I would strongly recommend them

Food is of a really high standard and although some may find the portions smaller than elsewhere the quality is good. Service was a little slow and we waited for over 30mins before our mains arrived however the restaurant was busy. Good experience otherwise and will be back for takeaways and restaurant meals in the future.

Fantastic food and service with an extensive menu offering signature dishes which are outstanding. Most definitely setting the standards locally for fine Indian cuisine. 100% recommended

nice meal. very good value (we used meerkat meals although full menu prices are reasonable anyway) lovely big chunks of fresh chicken in our curries. my rogan josh could have been a little spicier for my taste but my friends was 2chillis on the menu and that was too hot for me. we enjoyed our meal and will be back.

The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere with great food and excellent service throughout the evening.. The staff were friendly and very efficient. We will be back again.

Great food with good advice about the dishes combined with an excellent atmosphere. However, one little concern was we felt a little rushed despite plenty of tables.

Our favourite “TGIF” meetup restaurant. Food is always top quality - working our way through the menu we’ve yet to find a dish that isn’t utterly delicious! Friendly service too :)

Very busy, not sure they had seen the table booking that I had made (!) so lucky there was 1 table vacant!! Food as always was very good.

The restaurant was very nice and the staff were very friendly. The food was nice. I think they’d benefit from adding a few booths as it’s very noisy and we couldn’t really hear each other or have much conversation.

Service is brilliant, staff are friendly and happy to advise you about the dishes. The food came in good time and was delicious, clean plates from all! The toilet facilities are nice and clean too.

We went on a Thursday night, the restaurant was fairly quiet. The service was good, and the food was excellent as always. Will definitely be going back.

Since my last visit about a year ago, (which wasn't bad) I have to say this establishment has improved vastly. The intimate setting, unique relaxing music, fresh flowers, candles, cloth napkins... Great work gentlemen, see you again.

we had really fast service which suited us as we were hungry. As always, the food did not disappoint. The lamb in their balti was tender and there was lots of it.

Good service, good food and a good feel to the restaurant. However, although the staff were efficient I do believe that they could be more friendly.

Poor quality food, no flavour. The ordering process was very unusual. We were required to order our curry then after everyone had ordered, we had to order the rice. There were 10 of us. Creamy dishes were curdled.

Good food but atrocious service. The table was booked for 7.15.pm. and we arrived on time . The meal arrived at 8.45.p.m. It is the first time at any restaurant that I have not left a tip

The staff are very polite, efficient and serve within a comfortable time frame. You neither feel rushed or forgotten. The variety of food is good and always well prepared and served.
