We lunch at Bar Napoli when visiting Edinburgh. Food standard is exceptional for the price. Varied menu should suit the majority of diners. Typical of Italian restaurants ,it is noisy.

My husband and did not enjoy the starter of pate or the carbonara which we ordered. Both courses tasteless. Would not return.

Been here several times. Family run restaurant with excellent food, drinks and atmosphere. I've have recommended Bar Napoli to several friends and family and they have all been impressed and returned. Only slight criticism is kitchen is in the top dining area and can be noisy. Interesting to watch the chefs though!

Meeting up with friends for a lunch, did so in an attentive and relaxed atmosphere. Not rushed and courses served efficiently and cleared up in the same manner never leaving the table crowded. Staff friendly and courteous and made for a pleasant afternoon many thanks to all.

The food came out too fast ,no time between course

The restaurant was quite busy when we arrived, even though it was only 12 noon. There was a large table of diners next to us, who weren't particularly noisy, but the noise level was higher than usual. The meal was excellent and great value for money. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive.

Retirement lunch for Rosemary The staff were great especially when my two friends were running late. The restaurant was so busy with a large party. It did not bother them. They said it was ok. I love coming here because I receive the same brilliant service every time I come. No other restaurant I visit can offer the same customer service. The food as always is brilliant. Great lunch menu I do not know of anybody else who can offer the same deal of 3 courses for ONLY £8.50. I am heading back with another group next Thursday who have been here before. Just looking forward to coming back.

Booked a table for ten at very short notice online and they accommodated is brilliantly , no fuss.. All speedy and very tasty. We’ll be back!
