Friendly staff and tasty food but overcrowded. Waitress forgot to bring one of our drink. Menu needs more variety or more frequent changes. Overall good experience.

I had a great evening at Banh Banh. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. I will certainly be going back again. Another great addition to Peckham's ever-growing gastronomy scene.

The food is tasty, fresh and not stodgy at all. The staff are friendly, patient and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is fun, but relaxed. The best restaurant in Peckham!

I loved Banh Banh! The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was amazing! I love Vietnamese and this would have to be my favourite in London. The decor was really cool too, great for a dinner date!

Excellent in every way. Delicious food - the pancakes are to die for, fantastic, friendly service - always prompt but never rushed and great atmosphere.

Bun Hue Pho good though not spicy enough. Tables turned within 90 minutes so felt quite time pressured, especially as servers tried to take our order every 3minutes.

The beef curry was sublime, rich and tasty and really generous with the portion size. Looking forward to returning and trying some of the prawn pancakes.

Banh Banh has a really welcoming atmosphere with friendly and informative staff, prompt service (without feeling rushed) and great tasty food. Can't wait to go again!

We really enjoyed the meal, all 4 dishes were very tasty and authentic. The pancakes and pork skewers were the stand out ones for us. The service was attentive and welcoming. We will definitely be returning!

Delicious Vietnamese meal and every thing tasted fresh with wonderful flavours and service was friendly and welcoming but I wish they served authentic Vietnamese coffee.

First time trying banh banh, it's always busy, now I no why. It's delicious, with veggi vegan and gluten free options. Staff are ALL welcoming and lovely and very knowledgeable about the food they serve. Highly recommended we plan to go back and try something new on the menu

Great value for money & a very relaxed atmosphere. Food could've been spicier, but they provided some extra siricha to accomodate my nuclear spice level taste buds.

2nd visit over the last month and yet again, every dish was spot on. Although extremely busy, the service was relaxed, efficient and friendly. Love this place and so will you.

The food was tasteless and overpriced. Not much food choices. This place is overrated. Over all food quality was mediocre and really disappointing. I will not go back there again. If you want authetic Vietnamess food, head to Deptford or Shoreditch instead.

Nice, buzzy, good vibe. The food is tasty, modern Vietnamese. All of the dishes were pretty good! Beef with Beetle Leaf Starter +++ shredded pork great flavour if a little dry.

Great food and cocktails (particularly the Lychee Bramble). I love coming here because the authentic food had such fantastic flavours which never disappoint. Definitely a must to try!

Delicious food: fresh, quality ingredients and stunning flavours. The interior and lighting make for a lovely atmosphere. The service is very good. The prices are very reasonable too. This is fast becoming our favourite Neighbour hood restaurant.

Went with a few friends to try out this plce as had been recommended and didn't disappoint . Good simple menu .The food was really fresh and tasty. Only thing I would say is that I would have chosen a spicier option or version of what I had , had it been on the menu. The interior design is lovely too. Overall a good experience .

Fabulous waiting staff, delicious food - not perfect but pretty good. Sticky wings, betel leaves filled with bbq mince and aubergine very good. Pancakes a little too doughy and difficult to eat in the leaves and beef stew a little glutinous. Good sauvignon blanc.

Fantastic food, great value, excellent service. My friend had special dietary requirements and the staff couldn't be more helpful in making lots of menu changes. We are going back next week!

Good atmosphere, nice food and friendly service. Aubergine was a hit and the caramel cake was lovely and light. Only improvement - could have provided a little bowl to wash hands as fingers were sticky after dipping food.

Really brilliant. Food was lovely, simple and fresh, and atmosphere was great. Service lovely, friendly and just the right amount of attentive. I had been before and came with 3 friends who had not been before, they all loved it and said they would definitely come again.

Good atmosphere, and nice food. Enjoyed the shin of beef and the drip coffee a lot (although the latter ends up a little on the cool side). Good value. Shame there are no straight pork spring rolls!!

Wonderful - unexpected dishes outside the standard Vietnamese fare, cool thoughtfully designed interior and a warm welcome. If you are doing the Pho test, it is authentically deep and intense here.

Absolutely delicious food and cocktails! I wasn't as keen on the dessert as the rest of the food so I would go for more starters next time and skip dessert. Starters and mains were amazing.

We were at first a bit uncertain. It felt like a canteen with bare tables, bare walls, bare light bulbs and tiled floor. But as the restaurant filled up, the atmosphere softened with the chat of contented diners. It was fun to be offered cocktails in such a setting and though expensive they were delicious: somehow neither beer nor wine seems to fit with oriental food and we were happy to drink water once we'd downed the cocktails. Choosing lots of starters we had a table full of interesting and delicious dishes, along with "greens" described as "morning glory" - was it really the plant of that name that grows in our gardens!? If you like fresh tasting food with lots of fruit and vegetables, chicken and prawns some pork and chili flavours you'll love what's on offer at Banh Banh. Not a long menu - so can't wait to go back and try the items we didn't try. Lovely service.

Loved it. Food was amazing and well priced. The place itself had a lively atmosphere and friendly service. I wish they had a more traditional dessert option but the selection was still good. Wonderful to have such a good restaurant in South East London.
