Food was extremely good but had to wait too long in between courses. Have found this is also the case for takeaway food in the past.....just plan ahead because the food is worth it!

Food was good as was the service. Let down by the beer pipes needing a clean - you don't want to see a load of gunge in the bottom of your glass

Loved our visit. It was really busy, so it took some time to be served. But the food was delicious as always! Will definitely come back.

Food was lovely, nice family meal out. Wanted to change where we sat and they didn't seem pleased and waited a while for bill afterwards. Overall would probably go again.

Excellent as always. Went with parents who had never been before and they thoroughly enjoyed it.... Only criticism would be slow on serving drinks. Great value for money.

Fabulous food with friendly helpful staff. Only reason not top score is we booked table for 8pm but was well after 830pm before a table was available.

Great restaurant, amazing food! Just to note for first timers, it’s not an Indian restaurant where you can bring your own drinks. Other than that the service is great and everything reasonably priced.

First time visiting here with family. The atmosphere was really nice and friendly. Waiters were right there if you needed assistance. The food was delicious, definitely go again!

The staff are pleasant and attentive. The food was excellent , reasonably priced and arrived piping hot . The restaurant was busy when we arrived so there was a little wait for the meal , but nothing untoward. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Hi yes been going to the Bangla for years and we has a family and friends have never had a bad meal. The saff and manegment are 1st class and atmosphere is brilliant. So Happy Days 👍

Haven't been for a while and was surprised and pleased that the service and food is good as ever.the only let down was a large party that came in already been drinking and were very loud

had the tandoori mixed grill which came with naan. prawn was sensational. others shared the lamb naga and enjoyed too. 3 poppadoms 4 pints a coke rice 2 naabs and 2 mains 37 quid and did 3 people easily

Sorry but it was tasteless, cheap ingredients used. Service was prompt and friendly. A jalfrezi is normally good a most placed but perhaps I chose the wrong curry.

There is a great atmosphere, the staff are lovely, the food is just fantastic, and love the fact that you can ask for it to be "made healthy" so no extra ghee used

Amazing food, there's something for everyone and at brilliant prices. Service is brilliant, mints, sweets and whiskey/baileys brought at the end of the meal! A little crowded at times but its really a great atmosphere! Love this place!

We had another very pleasant family meal at this our local restaurant. Food was good as always, service efficient and atmosphere nicely busy. Staff could have smiled more, but they were rushed off their feet. Also, I'm really not sure that the complementary @Baileys/ Brandy and water really works. We had a majority of non drinkers in our party and it doesn't finish a meal off well to have to decline a ready poured glass, especially for those that would have liked a drink, but could not partake for medical reasons, say.

Brilliant staff. Easy handling of a large group :-) Food was fantastic and the atmosphere was really welcoming. I would certainly recommend and look to go again.

We went on a Sunday and it was buffet night. Some of us didn't want buffet and just wanted to eat off the menu. Staff got confused, food didn't come out together, couple of drinks were wrong. But a still a great meal

Me and my wife recently visited Bangla lounge like we had on several previous occasions. The used there New Years deal which was any starter, main, rice or naan plus ice cream and coffee. This was exceptional value as the main I had is usually £8.95. Thoroughly enjoyed yet again and have already booked again for next week and will be taking friends. Final note staff are very attentive and made sure we was well looked after and considering how busy it was that was really impressive

We loved our visit to Bangla. It was the first time for our kids and they said it was the best meal ever! (And the complimentary icecream for them helped with that as well ;-))

Although the restaurant was extremely busy we were met and led to our table immediately and a drinks order taken. The staff were very courteous and the evening was very pleasant.

A fantastic night celebrating my daughters 18th birthday. Service was brilliant especially with a party of 10. Will definitely be back! A visit is a must.

Fantastic food, great staff, we were a table of 6 celebrating a birthday. We have eaten here several times before and always experienced great food and service. Unfortunately a large table with adults one end and lots of quite young kids left on the own at the other end, were extremely noisy and not especially well behaved. Staff coped brilliantly, but the constant noise level and stropping of certain very young childen spoiled our experience a bit as it was impossible to hear yourself over the noise they were making. Staff did their best, it was clearly a challenging night but wouldn't put us off visiting again.

The service was good but the food was average, asked for a plain naan with butter, got a naan which was sweet. Will not go for something mild either as it's more sweet which is not what curry should taste like.
