Food is absolutely gorgeous it goes without saying that staffs are really nice and professional my friend and me had really good time in there
It is a really nice place with a very cozy atmosphere. Good for both an intimate evening for 2-3 friends or for a larger group. The only reason I didn’t give a 6 is because I felt they could expand the menu a little to have some more warm plates. But definitely one I will go back to again and again.
Lovely little Italian restaurant with an excellent selection of wines, meats and cheeses. It's got a couple of tables outside as well which is lovely in the summer!
Cosy quality Welcoming and friendly place well lit with candles to create a wonderful ambience Staff kindly explaining the menu to us Food was great
Food delicious, as always. Very attentive staff. Sat outsite which was nice, only the pavement is quite uneven so was literally sliding down my chair so not that comfortable. But will definitely go back - as we always do when in ththe area.
Lovely experience we booked for a pre theatre light snack and thoroughly enjoyed the light bites, fresh, tasty and very enjoyable. Would go again no problem.
Enjoyed our Italian ‘tapas’. Perfect for a pre-theatre meal - focaccia, salami meats and salad, with an extensive wine and drinks list. Delicious! Nice atmosphere too.
Querky wine bar with tasty and quality antipasti perfect for us pre theatre! Sharing meat board was particularly nice. Atmosphere was good though Road works outside distracted somewhat
Great place. Good vibe and the food was spot on - crostini selection was on point, as was the rosé and the staff were all super friendly
Very enjoyable food at reasonable cost. The second time we have dined there and we will certainly go again. We have introduced friends there and they also enjoyed it.
Very disappointing there was no meals just snacks Didn't stay . Im afraid we will not vist this place again when in London Many other place with good value
Really great evening. Staff was very help full polite and a good sens of humour. And quick service. Amd very great food and wine. Defently be back!
My favourite place in Covent Garden and probably London. It never disappoints. Great food, wine and service. You can either choose to sit in the vibrant upstairs room or in the quiet basement area. Highly recommended.
Delicious food and wine, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff - we felt as if we’d spent the evening in Italy! I’d recommend the mixed platter of crostini.
We booked the restaurant for a pre show meal and we are glad we did. Great food and friendly, attentive staff. what more could you want :-)
Excellent place with great staff, wonderful food and lovely ambience. I would definitely recommend trying it. It’s is also very reasonably priced for London. Fantastic.
Lovely spot tucked away beside Covent Garden and along side the theatre royal and deity lane - would definitely go back when next in the area.
Really friendly atmosphere, helpful staff, and food and wine great as always. Would recommend people try the Burrata! Definitely the nicest wine bar in Covent Garden. 👍
Simple but delicious food. The experience was made by the delightful staff. They moved us from downstairs ( cosy but we wanted the buzz of upstairs), excellent service and charming especially Azzura.
I would like to think I’ve become a regular customer at Augustus Harris, this is a remarkable establishment, the restaurant has amazing food and the best customer service I have ever encountered. I would highly recommend a visit.
Great tapas style restaurant. Lovely atmosphere with excellent food - best tiramisu I’ve ever tasted. Staff friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great find, lovely little restaurant opposite the theatre royal drury lane. Food and staff cannot be faulted. Be aware though, the menu is only tapas.
A great little wine bar that has a good selection of small snacks and drinks. It's opposite The Theatre Royal Drury lane so great for a pretheatre drink. The beetroot salad was excellent as was the Avocado & prosciutto bruschetta.
Arriving early, the staff were happy to seat us. The atmosphere was nice, and when they first took us toward the cellar, I thought I would have rather been sat outside, but the cool spot was a blessing in super hot London. The menu's arrived, and seemed to be missing the "mains", I guess I missed that in the description. But we were delighted and filled up by the Italian tapas we had. The tastes were clean, and yummy. I would definitely go there again.
Good atmosphere, friendly service and tasty food, which was tapas style, rather than the standard three course meal. We had a good time and would go again.
Went for my birthday with my girlfriend. Lovely staff, great food and wine selection and overall a fantastic evening. Would highly recommend
First time there after an afternoon matinee nearby. Although early for our reservation we were seated quickly downstairs in the air conditioning, a blessing on a hot day . The waitresses who attended to us were outstanding , both friendly and knowledgeable. The food was excellent . Not a five star review, as the pricing of both food and drink was somewhat high , notably in the area of the drinks , both wine and cocktails .
Wonderful staff and wonderful food. Location very appealing , in a quiet little enclave off Covent Garden. Wines very interesting and reasonably priced. Great ambience. We’ll be back!
This restaurant is excellent. The waiter was very happy to recommend dishes and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend going to this restaurant. All the staff are friendly and the atmosphere, in particular the music is wonderful.
Very good experience! Lovely food and wine and very attentive staff. Had a selection of salami and crostini and they were all very tasty. Can definitely imagine coming back again, either for full meal or just a drink.
Lovely restaurant, food and excellent service. Would reconnect for a mid afternoon stop or pre theatre dinner. I can not say anymore than that really
I love Augustus Harris. Amazing food, amazing wine, and excellent service. A little on the pricey end, but worth every penny. Tony and the rest of the staff are so friendly and make it a restaurant I will return to time and time again.
Excellent food, lovely, helpful staff, great atmosphere, nice ambiance, fab cocktails - will definitely be going back and would highly recommend! Wonderful restaurant overall !
Visied on the recommendation of a friend and had an amazing experience - great advice from the staff. Simple but elegant menu and beautiful wine pairings.
This is my first time to visit there. The atmosphere is lovely and great. The food is reasonable and delicious. The staffs are very friendly and kind.
Very friendly service from all team members. Food was great, good wine recommendation and lovely service too. We would definitely recommend and also go back.
Although the food at lunchtime was very nice and the service very pleasant as we were the only three in the restaurant the atmosphere was a bit down.
relaxed surroundings, sat upstairs which was good as very hot day. tasty food, not a massive choice on the menu but that makes ordering much easier. nice staff and good music.
We ate at Augustus Harris before going to the Opera House just a few yards away. The service was attentive and friendly, the food excellent, the atmosphere lively but noisy and the prices very reasonable. A perfect pre-theatre venue. It looked busy and welcoming as we passed after the show but we didn’t have time to go in.
Lovely and lively atmosphere. Freshly sourced Italian meats and cheeses. Warm hospitality. The owner/manager spent a long time with us to help us choose our dishes. It’s kind of the Italian equivalent of Tapas. Great fun.
A great theatre-district venue for crostini, bruschetta & other spuntini. Good Italian wines & friendly service in two nice rooms with a small, intimate feel.
It is my second visit as I loved my first visit so much and had to return. Wonderful fresh food and fantastic service and staff. It will be my regular from now on.
a little disappointing with the table in the corner downstairs, no atmosphere but food and service excellent, ideal for pre theatre meal, would highly recommend.
Great food and service and excellent value for money. Good location near Covent Garden. Loved the cheese and meat selection. Will be returning in the near future
Absolutely delicious and fresh food, great cocktails and charming staff. I highly recommend this experience for a fabulous pre-theatre treat. We had several deli dishes and all were well resented and superbly tasty.
Have the cheese and salume plates. Best cold cuts we’ve ever had. Service is friendly but the place can get a bit noisy at night.
Friendly welcoming staff, lovely ambience. Absolutely fabulous food, the Negroni was perfect and the bottle of red wine we chose was very smooth. Overall a very good experience
We would not have classed it as a restaurant which is how it came up on my original search, but that said it was expensive but surprisingly good. The food was limited in choice and was light but delicious and the wine we has was excellent.
Loved it. Sit upstairs with friends and watch the world go by, with a glass of wine and a selection of delectable tapas. Highly recommended
Combo plates were awesome. Excellent service. Excellent food, both in quality and taste. Dessert was good, too. Extra bread was offered and all food was delivered timely so we could get to the theater. Loved the music. Overall great experience.
