Great, friendly staff. Lovely food, especially the raspberry sundae! And an overall good experience. Would defiantly reccomend to anybody who wants a nice quiet meal out. Absolutely Beautiful.
The food and service were excellent. Very good value for money as we had the early bird 3 courses for £15 menu. Excellent drinks and lovely atmosphere. Would recommend.
Great food and fab service. thank you v much. J
Lovely ambience, attentive but non-intrusive service, extremely flavoursome food and the charm and wit of two wonderful ladies made for a most enjoyable early evening celebration.
Excellent food and service. Menu is a good balance between meat, fish and vegetarian options. Good wine list. We had an excellent rjoca. Staff were very professional and we felt valued. Great atmosphere.
Lovely food, terrific service, cool cafe bar , good price, would definitely return, easy to find in a trendy part f Leeds , also newspapers available to read
Without a shadow of a doubt this is definitely the finest restaurant in Leeds. Sublime food - utterly brilliant staff and just an absolute joy all round quite frankly.
A great place! Busy due to Good Friday but service was fast and extremely helpful. Excellent food that was well prepared and presented. Many thanks to Paul for calling me when I left my keys behind! 5 Star!
Great atmosphere, brilliant choice of food on the menu. Great service. 2nd time here this time as a couple. Would definitely recommend if you are wanting somewhere nice and small.
The food was delicious as usual but the service was very slow. Even allowing for a busy lunchtime, 35 mins for food to come meant we had to eat in a rush.
Great restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was fantastic and not too expensive. Would definitely recommend the cocktails. A really great find in Leeds
Dinner with friends at Art's Cafe led to excellent food and service. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and we had a great table. Will definitely be back would recommend highly!
Great food, amazing taste combinations, great wine. Atmosphere lively, helpful and friendly staff. Would go again.
Amazing food and friendly staff! 😊 Had a wonderful evening. Sea bass cooked to prefection and the crab salad was lovely too. My boyfriend had whitebaite and roast duck, which was delicious!
It was a while ago since we visited Arts Cafe but we were not disappointed. Excellent food, excellent service. We will most definitely go back.
Came highly recommended and wasn't disappointed.Excellent good and service. Never felt rushed. Will return soon!
I love the Art's café - the service is always prompt but if you want to sit and chat they leave you to do this. On this visit we both had the vegetarian Sunday dinner which was lovely - bubble and squeak bon bons (although I do like the nut roast - wouldn't it be great if there were TWO options for a sunday roast for veggies once in a while?). And then we shared the sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel sauce and popcorn ice cream - which was pretty special although maybe a bit too sweet for me. They have had the same menu for a while now - it is always exciting when they change and there is a new choice of mains and desserts. The prices are reasonable, the food was tasty and brought to us quickly and hot (even though it was busy) - it remains one of my best places to go for Sunday lunch, and actually for any kind of lunch or dinner in Leeds. As a vegetarian I just always wish there was a bit more choice (and for some reason: the starters are always the best - but this is across the board, not just at Art's).
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Art's Cafe, the food was excellent, the menu interesting and the service friendly and very efficient. We shall definitely return on our next visit to Leeds. Thank you.
Great warm and friendly service as well as great food, I would definitely return to try more of the menu and recommend it to a friend
Great menu and lovely venue with relaxed and efficient service. Had a lovely long lunch, under no pressure to finish quickly. Great vegetarian meal and mackerel special. Forgotten how good this place is for atmosphere, service and a chat.
I booked during the week to go with my husband and parents. It didn't communicate on website that there was a valentines menu available/ only a valentines menu available. My parents were visiting and I recommended here as they love fish and chips, which arts cafe normally do brilliantly. I asked if they could still do this dish and they couldn't. I didn't really like and thing on the small valentines menu so was just a bit disappointing to find out once we were there as had i known or been told when booking I wouldn't have gone there tonight
It was lovely. Great food, good atmosphere and thoughtful service. Have been here many times in the past, and it always lives up to expectation.
Great atmosphere, attentive service and some of the best food I've ever had! We will definitely be returning I would 100% recommend to everyone I know.
Great food, great atmosphere, good service - as it always is there. They seemed a little more hurried than usual but was a fairly busy. We had to wait a bit longer than usual for our food but what should you expect with such a great value offer running...and it just meant we enjoyed more of the wine.
Consistently great original fresh food and excellent service. One to visit when in Leeds, slightly off the beaten track, cosy atmosphere. Try it you might just become a regular!
Lovely place in central Leeds with reasonable prices, and fab food. Always come back here
Overall lovely meal amongst the rest of the guests at the table, however my fish dish didn't come with any vegetables, so not really substantial enough for the price. Had to steal some of my boyfriends chips, which unfortunately were a little undercooked. Left still hungry.
Great staff, very attentive and good vibe. The food is good but the salads were small and over priced compared with other dishes on offer.
great food great service great ambience every time. very good.
The room is very welcoming and warm with interesting paintings. The staff were brilliant and went out of their way to accommodate some slight changes to individual dishes to suit my guests. The food was hot, tasty and well presented, although the fish potions were a little small. Only criticism, hard seats, otherwise, excellent
As always we enjoyed The Arts Cafe, A family friendly place to go for Sunday lunch. Considerate attentive staff, well presented food and a nice pint of draught beer.
Unquestionably The finest restaurant in Leeds. Without doubt. Brilliant food. Brilliant staff. Brilliant ambience. absolutely Brilliant. There's nothing else to say really. Trust me. It's brilliant.
Art's Cafe has a lovely atmosphere with excellent food. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - nothing was too much. Just great all round!
Me and my wife have been to arts cae mny times. And the quality of food and service is surperb. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and you don't get rushed with your ood so I would give it 6 out of 6.
A unique cafe restaurant perfect for lunch or dinner. A quaint feel with a modern menu. Good choice of food with a twist. All freshly made and tasty with good service
Food was really good with good and quick service from polite and friendly waitress/waiter Good location of restaurant on call lane with nice decor inside
Really nice atmosphere. Food was tasty but very small portion. I had sea bass with plenty of potatoes and artichoke hearts but one very small piece of sea bass. Friendly staff
Enjoyable meal , good staff, could have been more gas in the draught Estrelle beer, went flat very quickly But a good Sunday lunch, had by all,
The menu has not changed as regular as previously which is a little bit disappointing. However, the food and drink are in a very good standard. We had a lovely time there.
Very good food, value for money and service and one of the few places I could get a table for 2 on the Friday before Christmas!
Art's has good atmosphere. We were able to book a table at short notice. Good value, good food and good service. Nice place all round. We had a lovely time.
Our second visit to Art's, and just as great an experience as the first. Food choice is varied, with the day's Specials offered also; prices are very reasonable for a City Centre venue too. The decor and layout of the tables lends itself to an intimate and friendly ambience. Staff are lovely, helpful and cheery - no-one standing on ceremony - very relaxed. As they have a two hour slot per table, I can imagine if you wanted longer it may be best to book a table around 8pm? Just a thought. We ate earlier around 6pm, and two hours was plenty of time for our party of 6. We shall be back (hopefully on a warm summer evening - unlike the snowy January night we have just had ☺).
Lovely food and atmosphere, would go again. Reasonably priced with 2 courses for £12. Enjoyable meal easy to book. Nothing bad to say about this restaurant.
The café was nice and clean and the food was wonderful with lots of choice and also some nice things on the board. The staff weas nice and helpfull, we had a lovely time.
It impossible for me to go anywhere else for lunch on a Sunday now as the food and friendly service is always spot on ! I love the relaxed atmosphere and the food is always so fresh and tasty with regular updates to the menu ... Highly recommended
My wife and I chose arts for Sunday lunch to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary, the staff were very pleasant and attentive. The food was as usual top class, we will visit again.
Love this place, food and wine always good. We had the 3 courses for £15 menu. Whitebait for starter was really good with the remoulade, bit spicy that worked well. Main I had the smoked goats cheese and summer veg risotto as a main - bit bland by the time I got half way through and had food envy of my friend chicken dish which they enjoyed and looked delicious (wouldn't normally go for chicken but this was impressive). For dessert had the choc orange ganache and passion fruit sorbet - amazing, best dessert I have had in a long while. The portion sizes are never big but always nice and it means you can have 3 course without feeling stuffed. Service great and like the ambience. Worth visiting.
Very pleasant restaurant. Simple food done well and value for money. Friendly and attentive staff. Good wine. No negatives at all. Would definitely recommend although I would say its not the best that Leeds has to offer.
The café was beautifully kept, the waiting staff were very friendly and polite. The food was delicious and a very good value for money. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a quiet and special evening.
Have been many times before love the food and service however on this occasion we were told on finishing the starter we would have to leave for 7.30. We felt a little uncomfortable after this and felt we should have been aware before we ordered, I booked the table in August. There was plenty of time so didn't really see the need we didn't order sweets as felt wanted to leave. However the food was as lovely as always.
