Angus Steakhouse - Piccadilly Circus

1 of the spareribs was cold, after they were reheated they were dry and the BBQ sauce wasn't as tasty as before. After saying this to the worker who helped us earlier she went to the manager and got us a discount on the ribs that had the problem

Use Angus a lot when in London but this visit, considering we booked, was not one of the best. We were shunted first upstairs to wait for a table, then downstairs, then left in various places throughout the restaurant, then told to wait outside. We then again complained we had booked a table and were eventually seated. The remainder of the meal was to the usual great standard but the initial interaction was not good and left a bad taste in comparison to previous visits. I would add though that our server was brilliant and deserved the tip given to her and the floor manager did apologise as we left the restaurant.

A very relaxing and enjoyable visit which was a great way to finish our day in London. The food was of a high standard and the level of service was excellent. All the staff were very polite and extremely helpful, even going the extra mile to facilitate a taxi to the railway station for our journey home. A highly recommended restaurant which is on the top of our list of places to revisit when we return to the Capital again in the future.

Starter was cold and the noise level (background music) so loud talking was nearly shouting even the waiting staff had to really get close to hear. Not a place we will go back too

Just what we needed excellent food had a lovely time

It was difficult to get at table, even though we had a reservation. Food was god, service good, but the music and noise made the visit terrible. It was impossible to talk across the table - 82 decibels all the time.

Great food in a great location, perfect for an after theatre, the tables were very close together which resulted in a very noisy atmosphere.

Service was good but my meal wasn’t that hot ! Waiters were very friendly

It was awful, 1 hour of our lives wasted. First steak was raw, asked for it to be better cooked and they bought the same steak back but recooked and burned. We sent it back only to have to wait 30 minutes for another two blue areas. We left, awful

Waited 40 minutes for starter, then left without eating, rubbish

Our visit was great, the waiter was lovely and the food delicious. The only downside was the music was too loud which made conversation hard.

Very pleased with the steak and service was excellent. Was a little be squashed where we were seating, tables all on top of each other. Disappointed with chips, cheese and bacon which had very little bacon (like crumbs) and cheese was melted enough. Overall a good experience, would like a little more space and a little expensive.

Lovely food. Service was great. Would definitely return in the future.

We were told 2 wines were not available as they are changing the wine menu, I told them that we had experienced this several times before, then suddenly the bottle we wanted appeared, the steak was undercooked, asked for medium well, cut into steak & blood oozed out, manager offered to sort it out but we were running out of time at restaurant, we took steak, so it can be cooked properly, manager didn't charge us for the steak, we did offer several times to pay for it, he then told us this is not a takeaway, I was thoroughly disappointed with the visit as this was a repeat of a couple of years back. We were offered free deserts, service was good food was not upto standard, we have dined here for over 10 years, we are unlikely to visit or recommend again

Food was very good as was the service but the staff had limited knowledge on GF products. The choice of GF products was lacking It was also cold inside with the front door being constantly open!

WE had booked on line for a 6.45 sitting for a table of 6. Our table was not ready and we had to wait approx 20 min to be seated. The restaurant felt like it had crammed as many tables in as possible giving us little to no room to manouvre around. On a positive, lovely staff and they put a sparkler in the puddings of two guests who were celebrating a birthday.

Good food but slow service and very busy place. Steak a bit over cooked

The restaurant was absolutely heaving and so glad i booked earlier in the day as long queues for tables. Both had the ribs, food came surprisingly quickly and did not disappoint!! Waitress very friendly.

Our food was very good. The size of the dining area was very cramped.

Why does the piped music system have to be so loud at 5.30pm as to make talking to my partner difficult. From adjoining table, no consideration for clients who are hard of hearing - more than you mat realise. Good overall experience, thank you.

Mum had a disability so cannot get downstairs yet that's where the table we booked had been reserved. The staff had no qualms about reseating us however it was a chilly night and we were seated at a table right in the flow of the cold air from the open door that we were told could not e closed. The music was also s little on the loud side. We met up with friends from the USA and we found it quite hard to hear each other. Apart from that the staff were really friendly, the food was AMAZING
