Very helpful and friendly waiters, relaxed atmosphere, great food, both decently portioned and priced. Authentic Spanish tapas, with varied wine and drinks menu to compliment. Would come again.
This was our first visit to Amantia and I gave to say it won't be the last. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. I will be recommending it to everyone I know.
could not fault the ambience the service or the food, will be back soon to repeat our experience and will recommend to friends and family
food was lovely and service was good ,the ambiance let it down as restaurant was quiet .Would be nice if they could have live music ie. Spanish guitar or similar.
The restaurant was very nice and the food was excellent. The staff were extremely polite and friendly. I am very pleased to have found it and will definitely be back.
Nice food. Pleasant staff. Place was a bit short staffed? Tapas portions a bit smaller than other comparable tapas places. Go back? Yes definitely would.
Food was superb, but I think they could have done with another waiter as the staff were stretched. We were very welcomed and everyone was really friendly.
The best tapas I've had in the UK. I was in a party of four and we had 12 tapas as recommended on the menu and which is fairly standard. The food was first class and came to us in three 'waves' with a break in between rather than filling up the table with too many plates. The wine list catered for all tastes and had a lot of Spanish wine which one might expect. The white Rioja was excellent. We finished off with cheese for 3 and a couple of glasses of Pedro Ximénez sherry (which is like port) which was lovely. The pricing was very reasonable. The restaurant styling was modern but not soulless and service was friendly and efficient. The staff were also very knowledgeable. Historically Bennetts Hill has been a little of the beaten track for restaurants but with the opening of the Cosy Club (a posh pub) opposite I suspect that Amantia will go from strength to strength. Overall, I would go there again, would recommend/take friends and family and am looking forward to my next visit.
Awerall very pleasant experience. Was using Living Social voucher and very impressed with amount of food you get for the price. Everything was very tasty, not a fan of aubergines with honey but that's a question of preferences. Service was also great. Only thing missing is the atmosphere - would expect more warm and cosy interior.
The offer for Groupon was poor; as soon as we said we had a voucher, the menus were whisked away - it was a good job we are not vegetarians and eat pretty much anything! It took a long time to get drinks and the bill. The aubergine dish was terrible. The chorizo was good and one of the waitresses was friendly and apologetic, the others were not so friendly. Not a great experience.
Great restaurant and great food highly recommended with a great ambiance anybody not been should defiantly try this place out you won't be disappointed excellent
Interesting snacks with drinks prior to a great variety of Tapas, all very tasty. Very friendly, helpful efficient service, only downside lacked atmosphere on a Saturday lunchtime, as it was virtually empty.
Good quality tapas with range of traditional dishes with a little bit of a twist. The morcilla with goats cheese and red onion pastry parcel was delicious. Portion size a little small. £95 for four with drinks though so decent value.
Great dinner and friendly service too. The tapas dishes were delicious and brought out at appropriate times. Ordered some cheeky churros which were a great end to the evening - we'll be back!
Fantastic food and service . I would recommend this restaurant in Birmingham to anyone who likes tapas . Don't know about mains as we had a tapas selection which was very good.
I went the other night with a friend visiting from Dubai and I always want to show the best of Birmingham. I'm glad I chose Amantia on this occasion. Lovely environment and food was delicious. Service was very good. I would go again and highly recommend to friends.
We booked at Amantia for my special birthday treat and we couldn't have chosen a better place, although it was lunchtime and a bit quiet it did not detract from the wonderful experience, the food was exceptional, we tried the tapas to start and then went on to the main course and sweet all of which were excellent, we washed it all down with a nice bottle of carva. The staff were very attentive but not Intrusve, we look forward to eating their again and have had no hesitation in recommending Amantia to our friends.
Food wasn't amazing for Birmingham City centre, service was slow and not overly attentive. Won't be rushing back.
This is a great Tapas, very authentic and really friendly staff. We had 6 tapas dishes between 2 & I can't say anything bad about any of them. Wine was very good & reasonably priced, I look forward to returning.
Had a lovely evening with really good food, would recommend
A great atmosphere and the best tapas I have eaten in the UK. The flavours and taste of the food was devine, with the churizo and the meatballs being particularly memorable. The tortilla was just how it should be. We absolutely loved it!
delicious tapas food and great mocktails. lovely authentic flavours and good quality. attentive and friendly service. cant wait to go back and try the other dishes.
Brilliant food and a great little restaurant. Service was quick, staff friendly and it's generally very good value. We like it a lot here.
Fabulous service, amazing food, lovely experience, would highly recommend for a value for money night out. Looking forward to a return visit x x x
Amazing food which had a great selection of vegetarian options. Excellent attentive service. Will definitely be recommending Amantia to friends and family

The food is lovely and the service is good. Good atmosphere and good variety of dishes. Will definitely go again and I love my Sangaria.
Absolutely amazing we have been many times before but this time took some friends from New Zealand and they walked away with a big smile and a full stomache. Service was amazing and staff were so friendly defiantly recomend!!
Good food and service. I would personally recommend Monday nights for two for one Tapas. The flamenco nights they have also sounds interesting. I will be going back again.
Fantastic staff and great food, the paella was incredible - would definitely recommend going here - my mates had the tapas and they were all happy as Larry
We have visited Amantia many times and have always enjoyed both the excellent Tapas and service. The buzzing atmosphere and well priced food and drink makes for a wonderful evening.
Our first time there and will return. Friendly service with a fun but relaxed atmosphere. Lovely tapas that I can't recommend enough. Lots of great choice but not one bad dish. Very good location - close to many other bars and restaurants including the mailbox
Just love it here... Beautiful food and fabulous, welcoming staff. Such a wonderful, diverse menu, with recommendations for choices and a lovely, accompanying wine menu..
Great atmosphere, the paella with seafood we have ordered has been delicious. We have experienced great time like visiting a restaurant in Spanish city. Come back there again.
Very warm welcome from the waitress. She was really nice and friendly. Food was delicious, fresh and very authentic and we were pretty full with 2-3 dishes each. Definitely recommend
Excellent food and atmosphere. Arrived Saturday afternoon for a birthday tea, chose Tapas which was very good. The puddings are also to be tried as they are delicious.
Simply love this place, great atmosphere, lovely staff and excellent food. We've been several times now with different friends and they all have about the quality and deliciousness of the food. The cava sangria is lush too!
Loved every second! The staff were very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The food was simply amazing, even better than some of the tapas I've had in Spain. Just remember to leave room for fresh churros con chocolate. Can't wait to come back!
Great food, staff and atmosphere, the Paella was superb, will definitely be back! A little piece of Spain in the heart of Birmingham and it works perfectly.
Wonderful food and service. They even put a candle in my father's dessert for his birthday. Highly recommend the chorizo in red wine... if we could bottle that sauce and take it home with us, we would!
Lovely intimate setting, friendly and helpful staff and amazing food. What more could you ask for. Have already recommended to friends and family and will definitely be coming back again soon. Thank you
Fabulous food well worth a visit should You ever find yourself in the centre of Birmingham. Staff are friendly and service is great.
Lacking in atmosphere, felt too much like any fine dining restaurant. Would rather have more relaxed feel that would suit the food. All a bit drab.
The food was well cooked and tasty but nothing on the menu jumped out at me with a wow factor. Atmosphere could have been better also.
Wonderful food with extensive choice of tapas, efficient, friendly service. Great value 241 tapas on Mondays. Good location in city centre and relaxing atmosphere in restaurant. Would recommend it.
