Very good service and good food. Would recommend the Chicken Milanese. Had a very nice evening and chose the pre theatre menu which was good value for money.
Food is full of flavour really enjoyed my meal as did my wife. Excellent friendly service and reasonably priced. Will definetly return in the future.
The staff provide an excellent and friendly service and the food is good. It is very handy for Glasgow Concert Hall too. I'll be visiting again.
Excellent service and superb food at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend a visit to this city centre restaurant diamond. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Glasgow.
Service was very pleasant but a bit slow - granted it was busy but it took almost 45 minutes to get our first course. The food I had was OK but bland-tasting. The red wine (Cab Sauv) was excellent.
Meals was lovely especially starter of mussels. I had rissoto for main meal off the pre-theatre meal menu which had a good selection of choice at very reasonable price. Service was very good. Would recommend
Amalfi restaurant I went to this restaurant with a friend as she recommended it ,and I loved it,the food was excellent 2 course £12.95 . Also the staff are efficient and helpful and I was impressed when the waitress didn't even write down what we were having and got everything right ,and all dishes went to the right people.also to get a bottle of Merlot for £14. Is great in my book ,and they have a good selection of food and wine . Anyway I went back to this restaurant on Sunday night 11th February and again we were not disappointed would recommend this place as must try .
it was lovely had an efficient friendly service and excellent food. We were in a hurry for the concert but would have happily stayed for longer. We will be back
Varied choice and good value on pre theatre menu in this small homely he mussels were excellent and risotto perfectly cooked. Friendly and efficient service.
Great food as always from a very varied menu - even for a Pre-Theatre deal. Friendly, chatty staff who are always smiling. We love coming here before the theatre or cinema.
It’s small but the seating is well set out. The service was good & the food excellent & good value. The only detraction was the pervading smell of cooking oil in the air. Perhaps they need to improve their air extraction system.
Excellent service, and the food was delicious. Lasagna was yum. Food prices reasonable for city. Red wine could have been better quality. Would definitely return.
First time I've been to this restaurant and I must admit the food was excellent the staff were very friendly and the price was good definitely going to go back
Great service at Amalfi - the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was great too. Overall, we had a lovely meal and dining experience.
Lovely lunch at Amalfi. Some ate from set menu and others a la carte. Was all tasty and good value. Great friendly service too. Pleasantly surprised by the bill too!
The staff were very attentive without being intrusive. They even gave my daughter a huge piece of chocolate cake with candles for her birthday. Really easy to get to, good food at a good price
Staff friendly and helpful.. Fully comprehensive menu so you should find something you like. Very convenient if you are visiting Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. Decor rather tired.
Have been anumber of times to the Amalfi in Glasgow and each visiet is a continuation to the last one. Good food, good surroundings and very good staf f.Always a warm welcome and they recall our previous visitation - it's always nice to be remembered.
We eat here whenever in Glasgow Great food / service and value Would recommend it for sure Its a small family owned business and you can tell by the overall experience
We absolutely love this little gem of a restaurant. The food is excellent of course but the staff are what makes if extra special for us.
Was here with my sister in law and it was a very relaxed atmosphere, Good food and staff very friendly and attentive, prices very reasonable too
Fantastic wee restaurant in city centre, ideal for shows at the Royal Glasgow Concert Hall. Food, drink and service was all top notch. Thankyou x
Very friendly local restaurant right in the centre of the city with tasty sauces and lots of atmosphere. Hope to be back on our next visit.
Great food - been there several times and have never been disappointed. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Pizza is thin crust which is just the way I like it. The gamberoni is delicious.
This restaurant is in a very central location near to main shopping and theatres. Not a very big place but because of this we had personal attention. Food was good and reasonable priced.
I was greeted by waiting staff immediately, and sat down. I was given adequate time to order, but was not sat waiting or having to get the waiting staff's attention to place my order. Food arrived in good time and was very tasty. As the restaurant was rather busy, I had to quickly as the waitress to bring my bill, but I wouldn't consider that a negative, as they were very busy. When asked, the bill was brought over swiftly. I felt it was good value for money, as I had a drink, main and side order for £15. Albeit I dined alone, however I have often paid more in other restaurants. Overall, I was very impressed with the restaurant, and I would definitely dine again in the future.
FAB - beautifully tasty food, very reasonably priced, friendly Italian service! Future venue for dinner before Theatre Royal and Pavillion Theatre! Will be happy to return!
Excellent food, great service, very reasonable prices. Food cooked in an open Kitchen. The only minor issue is the limited space. Skinny folk need to sit with their back to the aisle and heavier ones on the bench. Otherwise, very very good, and recommended. Excellent location for the Royal Concert Hall.
Arrived early but that was no problem, we were shown to our table. Waitress gave us time to order and didn’t write this down but the drinks and food orders were spot on. Good tasty food, ambience and attentive staff helped us have a great night. Would definitely recommend.
Great home cooked meal with exceptional value. . Will be back to try again . . . . . . . . . . Great service too
Lovely friendly restaurant with great food, will definitely be going back. First time there and was very pleasantly surprised a wee gem in the middle of Glasgow, ideal if going to the Royal Concert Hall
Lovely cosy restaurant. Very friendly service with amazing food. Great for pre theatre, and excellent value for money as portions are very generous! Would definitely recommend.
lovely décor.great value £14-95 3 course pre theatre, excellent service and first class food. what more can you ask for in Glasgow city centre. would visit again without hesitation.
Really warm welcome. Excellent menu. We were a party of 6 and everyone throughly enjoyed their meal. Recommend the Bruschetta, Lasagne and cheesecake to finish :-)
Made to feel very Welcome and it went on from there. Service was excellent, food was really lovely at reasonable prices well worth a visit
Meal was very good. Staff were excellent. Recommend the Minestrone soup. Service was first class. We found prices good. Excellent menu very varied. Will be back.
lovely meal nice place close to the bus station staff were very nice and attentive we had a voucher but there were no restrictions on the menu good choices
Nice wee place, lovely table staff, lively atomosphere. Good pre-theatre menu with plenty of choices; all our choices were delicious. Ideal place for pre-theatre / cinema.
My friend and I went to Amalfi in West Nile Street Glasgow for a pre-theatre meal. We both enjoyed our meal and the price of £12.95 for 2 courses was excellent value for money. The staff were extremely friendly and served our food promptly which we appreciated as we had not allowed ourselves a lot of time before the show. I would definitely recommend anyone to try it.
We enjoyed a very tasty meal and the service was good! The restaurant is comfortable and cosy. We would return again if we were in Glasgow.
Lovely pre theatre meal and wine. Good service and food was very nice. Would go back! Choice of good value menus with range of different starters, mains and desserts.
Great pre-theatre menu and good service. Very competitive price and good quality. I could have chosen a few options for each course. Will be a regular now when attending the concert hall.
Lovely atmosphere for a romantic meal. Great food with lovely attentive service. Good value for money too. We took our time and even stayed for a fee extra drinks as we were enjoying our time there. Will come back without doubt.
Delicious meal and friendly efficient staff and reasonably priced. Can recommend the spicy chicken wings and the beef stroganoff. Will definitely go back sometime soon
Really wonder why I've walked past this establishment so many times. The food is as you would expect from an Italian restaurant only better. Amalfi offers authentic homemade (I Think) Italian food at a reasonable price in the centre of Glasgow a stones throw from the Cinema and the Concert Hall. The friendly efficient staff will make doubly sure that I make a return visit very soon.
Just returned from Italy but felt I was still there in Amalfi. The food was truly authentic as was the setting and atmosphere. Staff wonerful.
Food was great but we were a bit rushed. I had two elderly ladies with me and we really can't rush so that was abit disappointing. I had booked and had not been told about a table being needed within a set time.
Good food and very friendly staff. Our party had the early evening theatre menu which was good value. Would recommend this to anyone. Central location
This is a small, very busy and very pleasant restaurant. Nice staff, great food at a great price. We thoroughly enjoyed it, ahead of a concert at the concert hall round the corner. Highly recommended.
we all had superb meals friendly attentive service pre theatre visit we felt extremely valued as customers will definitely return and highly recommend to others
