We love this place based on the food quality, the staff and the ambience.
AmZing service and amazing food, would definitely recommend to my friends
Overall absolutely excellent! For us the load music was a bit much - but we are old fogies!
Lovely lunch with a friend visiting from Brighton. We both had the Roast Beef which was cooked perfectly pink. Mirko our waiter was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We’ll be back!
Good service, good gin, however steak was a bit tough
The staff where attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. Will be returning
Cibo ottimo e molto curato, locale pulito, personale molto gentile. Decisamente ottimo. Consigliato
Was a lovely experience to sit and have a nice drink followed by tasteful food
The food was delicious and the drinks as well. The service was fantastic. We had Eryn and she was lovely
The service wasn’t excellent, Lauren in particular was fab and the food was superb. We had the sharing fillet steak and it was sensational! Will defiantly be back!
Fantastic meat and service! We will go back another time
Great place to go to food fantastic plenty of drink options
amazing steak cooked to perfection, would definitely recommend to my friends!
My brother has been recommending here for some time so finally booked for Thursday 18th April, we were surprised at how quiet it was for the start of the bank holiday weekend. Staff and the food were amazing, even better when using Confidentials vouchers
Really good steaks, probably best in manchester area, would go back!
Perfect. Love it, best in town, without a doubt !
Had the Butchers Cut for 2 people. Absolutely amazing, highly recommended. The chocolate Tree is a work of art and is delicious. Alston Bar & Beef is a must visit particularly if you love a good quality steak.
Excellent food and nice staff! Our expectations got exceeded to the max. The fillet we had was probably one of the tastiest we ever had.
Great food and nice decor inside. Just a few things made us knock a few points off Despite not being very busy, it took a while to get our bill (and we had an event to be at) so were a little frustrated. We were also a bit disappointed that we couldn't use a Manchester confidentials voucher for this because the roast was not on the main menu (however this was not mentioned on the voucher Ts and Cs)
Best D-rump ever had. Nice ambiance, great staff. Looks exclusive, feels exclusive but the payment is not so exclusive. Thanks for an overal great experience.
Service is better than any place I have been in Manchester and boyyyy does that steak melt in your mouth. 10/10 both times I have been. Fillet and sirloin is to die for.
Great restaurant! Fantastic food, good wine and lovely atmosphere for wet Wednesday evening 😀. Staff were really helpful and conscientious, couldn't do enough for us.
Nice enough, had to send the steak back 3 time before it came as we requested when ordered. Lovely staff, good menu choices, brilliant selection of gins. Would visit again.
An early dinner prior to music event on a Monday. So quiet to start but staff were friendly and attentive. Great food - beautifully presented and steaks perfectly cooked for all our party. Smart restaurant and clean. Would definitely go again.
Sunday menu was really special - both had Beef, delicious!
The steak, ribeye on bone, was close to perfection. Wild but great advice from the waiter regarding wine with the starter. Whiskey in water and ice with the scallop.
We thought everything was really good, the staff, the decor the food. We go out every Sunday for lunch. My wife, Dee, usually go's for the roast dinner; however, no matter where you go there is alway one element that spoils the meal, be it the meat, the roast potatoes, Yorkshire pud or sweet red cabbage which we think should never go near a Sunday lunch. Yours past the Dee test with flying colours. I also had a lovely beetroot and goats cheese risotto. Also at lot of places in the city think they can charge the earth just because of the location; places where you can have a good meal but would not return because it's just to expensive. We both thought your pricing to spot on. So we'll be seeing you again with a few more of the family in tow. Good luck Tony
1st class food & friendly, attentive service. Drinks pricey but average for this restaurant level in Manchester. Would class it as formal setting with beautiful decor and cloth napkins. Well cooked, well presented food all served at the same time to our table of 3. If there is a negative, mains could have been hotter especially the vegetables.
