Great experience. Restaurant was very busy.. Good that we booked in advanced! The service was Great.. And the sizzling dishes smelt and tasted fab.. Highly recomend..
The food is great and reasonably priced and the service is quick. I have found, however, that the waiters can be a little pushy when ordering and try to drive you towards choosing the more expensive dishes. Other than that, I'd recommend it.
Excellent food and service--we have already made plans to visit again with friends. The food is genuine (we've lived in that part of the world and are picky) and they can fire up the spiciness if you want--really good!
Aladin Brick Lane. Sat night. I had pre-booked to meet friends. The service was rushed and slap dash. The food was quite plain. Not delicious. Nasty artwork on walls.
Delicious food, great service, loud atmosphere but makes for a very "Brick Lane" experience. Despite having tried a number of other curry houses on and off Brick Lane, I keep coming back to this one. Would highly recommend Aladin!
Food good, not outstanding, had better from my local takeaway and I don't have to wait 45 minutes for it. Beware of the popadums that they bring to the table whilst you wait, normally given free in every Indian restaurant I've eaten in but they charge you for this here but don't tell you. Asked for tap water and was also charged for that which again is unheard of and is appalling. Would I return? Definitely not, would I recommended this restaurant? No, unless it's to someone from trading standards.
Most enjoyable curry in a vibrant and bustling atmosphere. Took our own drinks and it all worked perfectly.
Got 40% off as we booked and were seated between 4&6pm (says that on their website) and the food was superb. Friendly, attentive waiters too which is something u don't always find in Brick Lane. Well worth a visit.
Really good curry, we had the house special award winning chicken tikka blast and it was very good. I didn't realise the restaurant was not licensed so take your own drink but the staff are happy to send a runner to a nearby shop for you if you forget.
Great food - some of the best on Brick Lane. The service is not the greatest, busy place so it's slow. But as a BYO you can drink plenty until your food comes.
Good food and good service at a very reasonable price. Also very interesting fellow customers, and very patient while we sat and chatted for quite a long time.
Friendly staff, great menu, food amazing and by far the best in my opinion in Brick Lane.
friendly staff and lovely Indian food! one of the best I've had. They have awards for a reason! bring your own drink too, which is a good idea but bad for me cause now I'm very hungover :( id go again...excellent !
Staff were nice. Starters was very good but I found my main meal a bit bland. The Dall side dish was the worst that I have had as was very powdery. Price was good and like being able to take your own drink in there.
Very attentive and great food........what more do you want and you can take your own drinks so not being ripped off for this. Well done!
Excellent food and service in a vibrant atmosphere. The total bill for six people was under twenty pounds each which was amazing value. Bring your own wine and beer as no alcohol served.
Best curry I've ever eaten! Lovely and spicy and packed full of flavour. Great friendly staff too. I shall be returning!
Food was amazing, service was a little slow but staff were really nice.
Absolutely fantastic. One of the best I've been to not only on brick lane but anywhere!
Food was great and very cheap with 20% on-line discount. They got our order wrong but nothing major
This restaurant was lively and exciting! The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was outstanding. Some of the best Indian food I have ever tasted!!
We had a lovely vegetarian starter and two mains from the chef's special. The king prawn one didn't taste that much of prawns, but the overall dish was lovely. It was our first time. I expected, from the reviews, even more tasty food, hence I am giving it 4. But I will return there, taste something else and review hopefully with 5 or 6 stars. A great bonus to have the 20% discount as we booked online. Overall, we were satisfied.
Nice restaurant with decent food that we paid a good price for. Booked online and got 20% off. We brought our own alcohol. Nice atmosphere we would go again.
Food was excellent with a huge menu so will definitely be heading back to try some more dishes. Good service overall as was very busy. Super cheap with a 20% discount if you book online
The service was brilliant really friendly. The food was amazing.
The food was delicious, we did have to wait quite a while but it was understandable as it was very busy. We were then kicked off our table quite promptly after we had finished as they had lots of people waiting. Overall the food was good and the staff were very friendly.
Probably the best curry I've ever had. It was great value for money, but the service was poor and our first course took an hour to reach our table. All in all though, it was worth the wait for the food.
The food was good but not that good. The service was good and fast. Outside were many people waiting for a table. So when we had finished eating there were two men waiting to clean up after us. It was so stressing! We do not go there again.
Very friendly place with great service. Nice ambience. Opened door for us, pushed our chairs in etc. Food was really nice and was brought out quickly. Food was cheap. Bring your own alcohol as well. The off-licence nearby gives 20% Off if you eat there.
Good food, good service and bring your own wine and beer. Reasonably priced
Very busy and hectic but added to the atmosphere, when we arrived they tried to sit 6 of us on a table for no more that 4 but was eventually given an extra table. Food was very good, would definitely return.
A truly excellent restaurant with a vibrant atmosphere. The royal king prawns were especially good. This restaurant deserves all its many accolades. We will definitely return soon
A great night - staff xmas meal !! The staff were very helpful and the food was 1st class too . The only restaurant with a queue outside in brick lane and now know why!!
Wonderful food and great service. Will recommend this restaurant, must book, it gets very full, very quickly. Even during the week. Great location too, easy to find
Great dinner here with fantastic service. Really reasonable price - one of the best on brick lane.
Been twice in last month. Food excellent, busy & nice atmosphere. Adding service is fine, but would be good to see an entry on the bill so it adds up. Aladin is BYO so remember your booze if liked from next door offy.
Great food busy place but never felt rushed friendly staff would definitely recommend Aladdin x
Amazing food Great atmosphere for my daughters 13th birthday It was really busy but it didn't affect the service that we was given Can't wait to go back again !!
Friendly, lively atmosphere, great food and fantastic value. Brick Lane has a lot to offer those who venture beyond the Wes tEnd; Aladin is highly recommended
Too many people but food was good and quite cheap
Yummy food and great service. And liked that they didn't have people on the street begging you to come into their restaurant. Only negative - we asked for a taxi and the restaurant hooked us up with a driver that wasn't great and got lost taking us back to the hotel.
The place is crowded but friendly, the staff is merry and welcoming. As for the food, the curries are alright but not exceptional. The 20% discount was fortunately applied on the bill.
Really great food as always, great staff, good atmosphere and cheap
NICE FOOD BUT LEFT EARLY BECAUSE OF EXCESSIVE NOISE FROM OTHER DINERS. ALSO QUITE CRAMPED DOWNSTAIRS. MAYBE I AM JUST TOO OLD FOR THIS SORT OF PLACE AND IT WAS ON THE BUSIEST FRIDAY OF THE YEAR
We booked a table on line and had a quick confirmation response. We were 10 minutes late arriving but it was quite quiet at the time. The waiter was really nice and appropriately attentive. He noticed I was keen to wash my hands and without asking brought a hot towel so I didn't have to get up from the table. The poppadoms and pickles were nice and the food was really nicely presented and very tasty. The sag paneer bhaji was one of the best I've tasted with the cheese nice and soft rather than chewy. We all enjoyed our post Christmas family get together.
Average meal-have had much better in Brick Lane. This was a special occasion so were very disappointed. The lamb biryani in particular was not good.
The food was not that great but the atmosphere is cool
A meal of excellent quality in a vibeant atmosphere. Understandably popular.
Fantastic food ! What more is there to say ?!
Good food, but too crowded during weekends so you might experience a slow services
