Great service, fantastic food, incredible value. Take your own drink means it's even better value. Book in advance and get 20% off! Couldn't believe how good it was.

Best curry I've had in a long time. Haven't been back to Brick Lane since the 80s but this restaurant still retains it charm and vibrancy. Service is quick & friendly considering how busy they are.

Genuinely the most delicious curry I have ever eaten, I would definitely recommend eating here, especially for the vegetarian dishes. Just remember to bring a bottle of something as they don't serve alcohol.

Very noisy and cramped space, food was ok but nothing special. Also felt rushed, in and out in less than an hour. Overall, not impressed.

Another good meal at Aladin. Heaving as usual on a Friday night but courteous service in any event. Food and plates were really hot and the curries were tasty and of reasonable size. As they are non licenced, the staff will even go to the neighbouring offie to pick you up your beer! Recommended.

Food average, service terrible, understaffed, table by the door that gets blasted by cold air every few seconds when its opened. Moved from one restaurant to another. Avoid!

food was good and waiter attendance was excellent - ive given a lower rating on the basis a waiter dropped a hot lamb chop in my lap while dishing up (which happens) however did not offer any cloth or tissue to assist cleaning my trousers, left the chop on the floor while serving other tables and made no apology. I eventually had to ask a different waiter to remove the chop from the floor. Its a shame as the overall experience was good but attention to detail like this can damage your perception, plus I had taken guests from abroad in with e so didn't look good as I had recommended the resteraunt.

The restaurant was in total chaos with the staff shouting at each other and the customers. The carpets were filthy and the tables/chairs/banisters were all sticky. We were unaware there is no drinks licence so we had to go to the nearest shop to buy some beer. We had tables in the basement and since there were 7 of us we had to eat at a table for only 6 people so we were very cramped. The food was good when it arrived but nothing special. A sizzling meal was brought out of the kitchen and the whole basement area was cloaked in smoke which was horrid. When we were leaving the waiter gave us a 'discount', then asked for a tip and blocked the stairs. The manager heard this and there was a huge row about the tip and they were shouting at each other which continued out in the street. By this time we just wanted to leave the place. Not somehwere we would go again.

Great food - one of the best - and thoroughly deserving of all the awards. But have scored it down because we were in a party of 10 and the wait for food was a little past acceptable, even for a Saturday evening. I would definitely return, but only with smaller groups.

Didn't actually get to go into aladin even though we booked and had to sit in a different sister resturant which needed a little TLC. Also had to request for 20% off as they didn't put it on the bill automatically. Food was good though.

Brick Lane was recommended to us for great Indian food but I choose Aladin Brick Lane based on other reviews. You never know what to expect but we loved it. The food was great and the service was great. Something for everyone from mild to really spicy.

Over rated and living on the fact that it once appeared on BBC! A bit pricey for the quality of the food. Beware of the expensive popadoms!

Very friendly, efficient staff and service. Great value meal with a huge range of dishes of different prices and ability to make to your wishes with respect to making them a little hotter or milder. All the food tasted great, large portions!! Would certainly recommend this unlicensed restaurant on Brick Lane and will be visiting again. Prawn special (the most expensive one!) was delicious, huge and plentiful prawns and I added some extra heat....lovely!!

We go here regularly and they know us now. We always take a couple of bottles of wine, and are quite happy to let us sit until we've finished. We always go outside of the busy times though. The food is always good and the portions are very generous. We keep taking more and more people back and have never been disappointed.

As we were visiting the Truman Brewery, we thought we would have an Indian lunch in Aladin. We were not disappointed. The staff were very welcoming & seated us as quickly as possible as the restaurant was full. We only had to wait 5 minutes for a table & the staff were very attentive with our order. We had to wait a while for our food but when it arrived the aroma & taste was absolutely delicious! I have never tasted such a fresh and flavoursome chicken tikka masala and probably never will again unless I come back to Aladin - which, without doubt, I will!

I been living on Brick Lane for about 30 years now and funnily enough I don't normally like curry. However my friends from Asia came over for a visit and they really wanted a curry so they could compare it to the curries they get back home. So we decided to walk along brick lane centre of indian and Bangladeshi food to find a slap up curry. Eventually we came across Aladin. It was amazing. It totally made me love curry and I have decided to make it a monthly thing. The staffs especially Bodz and Manna were really welcoming and charming which made the vibe really fun. I would recommend the sizzling dishes as well as the chicken moducash, Thank you Aladin :)

The BEST Curry House I have ever been too in Brick Lane...! Always 10 OUT OF 10.I recently took a group of 30 People for my Birthday and reserved the Private Party Room (which is known as the Executive Lounge). What a SPECTACULAR EVENING that was. The service was FANTASTIC as always and the Curry was MIND BLOWING!!!!!!!. Everyone enjoyed the evening and they are still talking about THE GORGEOUS CURRY. "ALADIN - WE ARE COMING BACK".

I went to Aladin with a group of friends and simply loved it. The curry is great, I loved the Tikka Masala and all my mates also enjoyed their dishes. The service was dazzling and the price was even better. Overal a fantastic place for good curry at a great price with the top level of service around that area...
