Incredible. Been coming for 10 years now and this is still my favourite place. Everything cooked on the grill is juicy and all the traditional tomatoe dishes are creamy and full of flavour. The prices are also very reasonable.

This was my 2nd time to the restaurant as I wanted to share the great experience I had 1st team with my family, and again I was amazed at the food and the great atmosphere in this lovely restaurant. Size of the portions were extremely generous and you will never come out unsatisfied! 5Star restaurant and I will definitely be returning and recommending

The food is nothing close to the real thing. Overcooked shrimp is unacceptable. Everything tastes of smoke really badly. We will not go there again.

Really tasty food and lovely wine. Their bread is amazing but don't be tempted to eat too much of it as the portions are extremely generous. Great atmosphere and friendly, efficient staff. We'll definitely be back!

This is our second time visiting. Amazing food, very good value for money too. The service was also great. Would reccomend the set menu for value for money.

This has been a favourite of ours for many years and never disappoints. We go every time we are in the area from Bristol and enjoy the amazing food and friendly service. Advise you to book as they fill up very quickly. Enjoy!

Absolutely delicious food and brilliant service. Wait staff are attentive, we didn’t feel rushed to order and starters and mains came out in really good time, piping hot and very tasty. Very good price, and worth every penny. Lots of vegetarian and vegan friendly choices and they even brought me out a cake for my birthday. Overall we had a wonderful time, and have never had a bad experience!

Busy restaurant for a Thursday. The menu choices are very good (reminiscent of holiday). Great food, all freshly cooked on a huge BBQ grill. Fantastic atmosphere and really friendly service. Definitely recommend and will definitely return!

quite simply the best meal we've had in quite a while. The whole experience was faultless from the minute we walked in the door to be greeted by a very pleasant young lady (she is the daughter of the Agora's owner). The menu spoils you for choice but the staff will talk you through anything you're unfamiliar with. The seating is comfortable and the décor is subtle and modern. Our food was delicious, every dish we had was well cooked and full of flavour. We enjoyed it all so much that we even lingered for desserts which is unusual for us. All in all I cannot find anything I could complain about on this visit. We'll certainly be sure to book again the next time we're in Southsea.

A warm welcome, outstanding service, great food and wine and value for money. This was my first visit (although my two companions had been there previously) and I can honestly say Agora is now firmly on my list of 'go to' places.

A good range of choices on the dinner menu, good service and atmosphere. Only one other table occupied at 18.30 when we arrived, full when we left at 19.45. Value, quality of food and service, and a nice ambience - we will return!

Agora is absolutely fantastic. Cannot fault the food, cleanliness and customer service was impeccable. Great for families, personal or business dinner. Can not recommend enough.

We went few friends for a casual dinner during the week day. It has Very Good service and very nice atmosphere. Big portions and all the dishes are very well present. I will really recommend it to others.

Words fail me to describe how good food and service is. Falafel and babaganoush is to die for. Service is amazing. Bring a lot of change for a tip, they're absolutely worth it. Only downfall was that contactless wasn't working, so make sure you have your card on you, not just your phone. All in all, highly recommended.

Food and service excellent. Although it has been a while since we last went, the waiter remembered us and also what we ate previously, I class that as super Customer Service.

The ambience was very nice and we had a lovely bottle of wine. However, the food was a little disappointing. It was tasty but far too salty and generally 'heavy'.

The food is to die for, one of the best( if not THE best) restaurants in Portsmouth and don’t forget to book, you won’t be disappointed
