Delicious food, attentive service, a lovely Sunday lunch! Chaat platter was tasty, lamb sagwala very tender and if your vegetarian go for the paneer jalfrezi. Don't forget the kulchi, I could just eat this and nothing else!

Food is amazing here and never more than a 15 min wait however busy it is. The chicken sizzler is my favourite meal. The street foods are great too

The whole experience at Aamchi Mumbai is excellent. The food is amazing, the restaurant has a great atmosphere with friendly staff who are both helpful and efficient. There are so many restaurants in Cheadle and Greater Manchester and this is definitely one of the best.

THE FOOD WAS REALLY FIRST CLASS BUT THE SERVICE WAS A BIT LAX AT TIMES BECAUSE A LARGE TABLE WAS FILLED NEAR US. ONE OF THE STAFF DID HER BEST TO MAKE AMENDS SO ALL WAS WELL IN THE END.

excellent food and service. this isn't the usual type of indian, it's authentic and not for those who just want a tikka marsala. second visit and can't fault it

Vibrant atmosphere; interesting / lovely food and staff are very helpful. Enjoyed a really good family meal with grandparents and a toddler - no mean feat!

Unusual food - not your typical Indian restaurant. Perhaps a bit too brightly lit but enjoyable experience. This was my fourth visit so they must be doing something right!

There were four of us and we all chose something different. All our dishes were very tasty and the service was very good too. Reasonably priced. We will definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant. Parking available too.

This is so much better than chains like the Tiffin Room or Mowgli. Excellent food, always an interesting special on the night and super service.

The food was great the ambience was lively with helpful and friendly staff.I started with the masala dosa was crispy goan fish curry was great with light and fluffy lemon rice and the nan bread was nice and thin and not doughy . I highly recommend the restaurant.

Excellent meal at Aamchi Mumbai. Dosa and Bhel Puri followed by Vegetable Sizzler all delicious and accompanied by the best Dhal. Great food and very helpful staff-perfect. Looking forward to our return.

Absolutely delicious food, with lots of choices. A warm welcoming atmosphere, the owners were incredibly helpful and obviously very proud of their lovely restaurant! Would definitely recommend!

We always choose the special and this time it was 'Missile' - I think - and it was extraordinarily good. For me it even beat the green fish tikka which is our absolute favourite starter. Once again, we shared the coconut fish curry and it's rapidly becoming the main course to beat for us. Just love this place.

Totally unique and amazing experience. We asked the server for recommendations and we weren't disappointed. We were seated outside which was lovely. We can't wait to go back again.

This is now, officially, our favourite local place to eat, as previous reviews attest. Last night we tried the fish curry which was fantastic. Large chunks of white fish in a fragrant, coconut based sauce with a super kick. Nothing like the greasy, battered fish curries of other places. Great service too, as always. This is such a good restaurant.

Great friendly service and superb food, try the lamb chops the best I've ever eaten and the chicken saagwalla was just the business. We can't wait until our next visit

The staff were so nice and friendly. They were also very knowledgable about which options on the menu were suitable for vegans. The food was deicious! I'm looking forward to returning.

One of the best curries I've had in a long time. Distinct menu with lots of dishes I had not come across before - I love to try something new. The staff were great and were happy to give extra information on each option. We'll definitely be back (if we can get a table!)

As always, splendid. This is now our favourite local restaurant. We always go for the day's special as this is always interesting and unusual. Last night was a tandoori lamb shank which we shared - softest meat with excellent flavour and none of that awful red food colouring. Just lovely.

Staff very helpful and courteous, amazing food.....Traditional Mumbai cuisine, the atmosphere was relaxed, the street courses were Very tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed it will definitely visit again.

This was our fourth visit and, once again, we were delighted at the light hand in the cooking and the excellent service. It's always good when the staff can properly explain the food to you - and even better when they are very happy to do so. I made a green chutney recently and now understand where I went wrong. The smokey aubergine was just crackingly good and, somehow, even the rice becomes a fragrant dish in its own right. They really do try harder here. And succeed.

Food was great, plenty of vegetarian options and fresh as well..not convinced by the poppadoms though...I prefer the traditional large poppadoms myself but overall a good experience, would recommend

Decent food though sambar lacking seasoning. They need a more varied menu if they are going to attract returning customers. Decent service by waitress too.

Very enjoyable meal. Very attentive service staff with lots of knowledge of the menu. Surroundings were pleasant and very clean. Only criticism is maybe not quite enough food choices but the food we had was excellent. Will definitely be going back!!

We visited last night and had a wonderful meal. We went for the mixed sharing starter and chicken lollipops all of which were amazing. Followed by lamb buna which was top quality especially the meat, and a aloo Gobi which again was the best we have ever tasted, massala rice and a chilli nan accompanied the meal. Unusually for us we had a sweet which was Kulfi which again was one of the best we have had. Thank you for a wonderful meal and we will return very soon

It was good service also were good . The food and staff were also excellent and i have been there earlier and it always good food there

compared to our first visit, the second one was a bit disappointing. The Paneer in Paneer Tika was cold and a bit rubbery. Bhaji in Pav Bhaji was full of masala and a bit salty. Dosa wasn't crisp as it should be. The Falooda was excellent, though. Staff are friendly and very nice overall. May be the chef had an off day!!! Happens to us all. Would like to try again sometime.

Good atmosphere and interesting menu. I particularly enjoyed the vegetarian paneer pizza, it's large enough to share and would be great as an accompaniment to another main dish.

Best authentic Indian food in the UK so far . We been many times in india, so it is easy for us to judge. Also , never met such a friendly owner and staff. There should be many more restaurants like that.
