Lovely local restaurant with delicious pasta, bread and good wine.
Authentic Italian food. Wonderful staff- made our night so special!
Fantastic local restaurant, great value and superb food. Well worth a visit
As ever surely one of the best Italian restaurants in London. Superb imaginative extremely fairly priced , one's only criticism are the acoustics when it fills up. Bar that, a memorable meal
Had a very nice time on Sunday lunchtime. Waiters very attentive and food good.
Excellent food & service. 👍👍👍👍👍 From the outside it didn’t look much but boy were we surprised !
Always great food! Menu changes seasonally, always great pastas and meat/fish options. Could eat everything the have on the menu
The food was very well prepared, and the service was thoughtful and prompt.
Food was very good and liked the staff and ambience
Another wonderful meal at 500. THe hake in particular was sublime. I just love this restaurant.
helpful and friendly staff. Food very tasty. No simple traditional dishes.
Great service and the best food ever! All our dishes were simply delicious. The wine superb and good value for money. Even the chamomile tea was exceplenty. I will definitely be going back very soon.
Really good. Simple and excellent food and service. Superb value.
Good food and lovely service. The mixed starter plate was all very tasty and was plenty for four. The other menu options were also very good. It was difficult to choose what to eat the menu was so good and none of us were disappointed.
Great food at 500 and always feel well looked after. They have some good gluten free options too.
It had been quite a while since I’d last been to 500 and I wish I hadn’t left it so long. It’s such a neighbourhood gem. We had the most delicious meal - Marsala duck and pan-fried halibut, followed by caramelised rhubarb and strawberry sorbet - and the service couldn’t have been friendlier. They even gave my mother a birthday bowl of tiramisu complete with candle on the house.
Friendly Italian restaurant. I doubt if there is better Italian cooking in London. Brilliant Pheasant quenelle and wonderfully flavoured pot roasted quail. Spot on fish cooking. Interesting and not expensive wines from all over Italy. Best green olives from Puglia and home baked bread assortment. Excellent pasta dishes.
It’s becoming our usual valentine’s day restaurant and never disappoints! Food is beyond awesome, the service is really good and prices are not too expensive for the treatment! Only one complaint: Peroni is an awful beer, try to have more choice..
500 is a fab place with gorgeous food! It’s great value too with wine from £20 - £30. Quandoos booking system didn’t work though for some reason so they didn’t have our reservation but they managed to fit us in on their one unbookable table. They couldn’t have been more helpful!
We found this restaurant recommended in the Waitrose good food guide so had fairly high expectations, "Thick leek and potato soup" was not thick and it was tasteless. My main of pan fried halibut was also disappointing, the fish was nicely cooked but the skin should have been crispy but it wasn't and was unpleasantly chewy. This was served on what I can only describe as a puddle of puréed carrot. My partner and son described their meals as average. Service was good enough but we won't be back!
Attentive serving; delicious food & great to be able to have half size (& price) starter & sweet - for those with smaller appetites! Would love it if there were more white meat @ vegetarian options.
We have been there many times. The food is always good, fresh and tasty. The home made bread is a must. Not forgetting the service which is always with a smile.
Excellent food and customer service, authentic Italian cuisine but pricey but not bad at all however parking is a massive issue.
Friendly staff. Excellent food. The mixed tagliere board gives a taste of all the starters. The rack of lamb was superb. Wine list is reasonably priced.
This restaurant is a real gem. The staff are delightful and the food is exceptionally good. Cannot understand why this restaurant is not packed. Wonderful fresh fish and lamb cooked to perfection. Will be returning to this unpretentious and great little restaurant.
We have been going to this restaurant on and off since it opens. It is a gem. Wonderful authentic Italian food, lovely staff, very good value, excellent portions. Very interesting menu which changes regularly, inexpensive wine list. What more can I say. This place is great. The only snag is that it is small and can get noisy. It depends when you go.
Really enjoyed the food and wine, would visit again for sure. Very laid back and understated atmosphere. This place is all about the food for sure :)
Lovely food in relaxed atmosphere. The dishes range from refined to really satisfying Italian home cooking. Starters were amazing. The pasta dishes that followed were really homely and scrumptious.
great local Italian restaurant - great food and very good wine list and helpful friendly staff. Try the sharing starter platter - a mixture of all their starters
Amazing food staff lovely and hospitable. Well worth money. I would recommend this establishment to anyone. I deal for work functions and we will continue to go back!
Delicious food and excellent service contributed to a most enjoyable evening. A pleasant environment backed with a thoroughly professional service at a reasonable price. I will be returning!
Great food and service at a decent price. All that one could wish for in a restaurant.
Best Italian in London, no question. I go here all the time, have eaten completely different things on each occasion and they have all been spectacular.
Lovely local Italian, good food and attentive but not over attentive staff. They don’t hover and keep filling your glass but they are very responsive. They serve a mean Frito misty occasionally as a starter, the menu changes I think every month so always new things to try along with regular homemade pasta dishes.
Everything great Food , service and lovely quiet ambience. Good mix of customers - young , old , locals and business people. Very attentive service and fabulous cheese to nibble . Best gran padano ever . A great restaurant
Superb food last night for our party of 9 people. Beautiful sharing platters for starters , pasta and fish for mains and Tiramisu for dessert .
Obviously very popular Italian restaurant in Archway. Very friendly service. Good authentic Italian dishes. A very pleasant experience on our second visit. I wish it was my local.
Food was amazing, staff could not do anymore than they did. Will continue to use for both work events and social. Price very good value for money, thank you
I went there for a quick lunch but burrata and pasta was really good and tasty
Such great service and delicious food! Pasta was lovely and half portions of most dishes are available, which is nice so you can try many of the dishes.
The food was delicious and came very promptly. The real reason we came was for the truffle special, which was superb. Well done, you have a great place.
Had a great time. The food was delicious and the wine very good. The prices are reasonable given the quality of the place. Highly recommended restaurant.
Just as a local restaurant should be - good food, good ambience and affordable. The staff are always helpful and accommodating and I especially enjoy their fish dishes.
The food is utterly delicious and staff is amazing! I don't normally go out for Italian meals... As an Italian I am very picky: no fake Italian food for me. 500 always hits the spot!!!Highly reccommended.
Fantastic food, the white truffle pasta was delicious as was the risotto, and veal chop, the delicate caramelised quince with ice cream a perfect way to end the meal Can't wait o go back
Traditional-style local Italian restaurant providing well prepared and executed pasta and main course dishes, good quality Italian wines at reasonable prices, pleasant and attentive service and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
An other wonderful evening with exelent food and drinks impressing my guest from Norway. This is my fifth visit and definitely not the last one!
freshly cooked food and wonderful service - excellent have been before and will go again Boys enjoyed their gnocci, my husband his ravioli and my chops were delicious.
This restaurant was recommended by a friend and I will certainly be returning. Staff were friendly, nice atmosphere. Food was delicious I had the mozzarella for starters followed by the duck for my main my partner had battered seafood then the ravioli and to finish it off the fig dessert all tasted superb
Delicious burrata! Nice place, kind staff, just atmosphere a little boring. Everything else was fine
