Brilliant great pre theatre meal, swift but not intrusive service food great

The food was excellent, the service was fast and convivial, if only the price was a little lower.

Staff very friendly, good service and good food. Why is there a minimum of twenty five words ?? Seems pretty ridiculous and unnecessary to me.

Excellent service, seated quickly and didn’t have to wait long to have ordered taken. We had excellent food, really tasty and good portions. The staff were really lovely. Highly recommended.

We were served such nice food, we took the groupon deal, saved much money and had a lot of variety. They deliver pretty good service.

Food was very average! The starter Lamb shashlik was over cooked and very tough. The pickles were second hand and we had to keep requesting more. The main dishes all had a very hard spice taste to them compared to the many fine dining Indian restaurants we have eaten at previously. The fact that when the bill arrived and we were being charged £1.85 per poppadom was in my opinion immoral. Not a restaurant we will return to.

Delicious food from a fancy set menu, impeccable service and lovely restaurant. Perhaps all a little too quick though which is why not full marks

Place was ok. Food reasonable quality and nicely presented. Definitely form over substance, everything was very nicely set out, but quantities were small. It’s not a bad Resturant and would consider going back but not amazing either

Very nice food, well presented. Groupon deal used so no choice in dishes but all were differently spiced and flavoured and the fish dish was especially good.

Beware, you’ll be asked if you want poppadoms when you sit down before being shown the menu. Most people will say yes, but they are £1.85 each, with just 2 small condiments! So we’d spent £7.40 before looking at the menu. This is an unpleasant tactic usually reserved for tourists in European cities.

Lovely food lovely service very friendly. Unusual and tasty meat with lots of different choices. The naan bread was particularly excellent and my friend and I really enjoyed our food

Grumpy staff. Food was pretty good although not cheap. I’m sure there are better options but it wasn’t terrible. Not particularly cheap compared to other Indian places.

Ambience was good and the staff were helpful & friendly. The food was excellent but we as a group did think the drinks were on the pricey side.

Appalling. Never, ever again. Poor service, less than average food and couldn’t help but feel the table was double booked! Definitely not the best curry house in Bristol!

I have been to 4500 Miles From Delhi many times, but never before on a Saturday. Going on a Saturday was a mistake. Usually, I rate this restaurant for producing authentic North Indian food (I lived in Delhi for several years), but on this very busy night the food was just not up to the usual standard. But the most irritating thing was that a member of staff had decided to substitute the usual white cotton napkins with the cheapest, flimsiest, paper napkins that I wouldn't use for a children's tea party. A very helpful waitress got the usual napkins for my table when I complained, but everyone else had the cheap paper ones. This was just laziness and, in my opinion, inexcusable. I will go back to this restaurant, but never again on a Saturday.

Lovely food but I didn’t realise it was a set menu and would have liked more of a choice or information about the menu. Also were given odd quantities to share between 2. Great value though.

Fast and efficient service and the food was really good. We will be back and have already recommended it to friends, so see you again soon

Great ambience and lovely service from the staff. Food mostly great but the lachedaar paratha and avocado Delhi chaat was not completely satisfying. The curries were perfect and the kulcha naan was different and filling. Would definitely go again and try more dishes.

Excellent meal and great service and they had Thatchers Gold ! A nice change if you don't like Indian beers. Will certainly be going again.

Food was amazing as always. Varied menu. There were 8 of us eating. Waiting time was very acceptable (about 40 minutes). Staff were attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant!

The food was fantastic, even though we ended being the only people in the restaurante we didn’t feel rushed, the service was perfect and the waiter helped my friend choose his drink and main as they were unsure, I usually order from deliveroo when eating from this location, but the experience of going to the restaurante made it so much better.

Good service and differing selection of meals from normal but could do with more classics like Bhuna. Five jewels a close thing to a Bhuna.

This is a large restaurant bang in the centre of Bristol. It serves most of your familiar Indian favourites but also some other interesting dishes that I'd never heard of before. The food and service was excellent and I totally recommend it.

Went for group on deal for lunch. Amazing clean setting and level of service and food was excellent. Just right amount for lunch and really nice food.

Walking distance from public car park, excellent service, great food and reasonable prices. what more can you ask for? very enjoyable evening in lovely surroundings.

Lovely restaurant, very friendly staff. The food was excellent. We were a party of six and really enjoyed the sharing platters to start. We had two meat ones and vegetarian on and they were excellent. All enjoyed our curries too.
