Fantastic food and brilliant service, I would highly recommended 1805

Lovely food, but pretty expensive. We ate at around 6 and were the only people in the restaurant at first, so there wasn’t much atmosphere - but you can’t blame them for that. The staff were friendly and efficient.

1805 was understaffed which meant the experience of what was a very nice meal was affected by the slow response and service

The vegetarian options were poor - one of them was so greasy it was inedible. The restaurant offered to swap it and then charged me extra when the billed arrived!

This was a last-minute booking prompted by my wife’s craving for dim sum, so we had honestly no idea what quality to expect. Thankfully, the food here is exceptional. We have been disappointed by all he Chinese restaurants we have visited so far in the Poole/Bournemouth area since moving here, so it isn’t wonderful to have now found one so good.

The food and service was excellent but pricey. Cheapest set meal for 3 plus two beers each and water £145. Maybe I’m just out of touch !
