Main meal forgotten( no discount received but added service instead) every meal heavy and greasy, nothing like my first visit. Very disappointed, Will never return.

Expecting good food and service, but expensive. The food was about the best chinese cuisine I have ever had, the service was excellent, and the bill was actually what you woukd expect in a good restaurant - great food, good value.

Went for Valentines evening. We didn't want the Valentines set menu and told the manager on arrival, we were then promptly put in an area not in the main restaurant in the corner where we were essentially forgotten about. Staff didn't know what was in the dishes, very slow service, got the starter wrong aftera long wait, the seafood main course in a 'clay pot' is a joke at £19, 4 prwns, 1 sliced up scallop and some unrecognisable bits of white fish, it dis arrive 15 mins after the other main we had that was warm at best when it arrived. They poured the wine when we asked them not too. Beware of service charge thatbis added to the bill automatically, tell them to remove it and decide for uourself whether to tip.Horrendous, never going back.

A double birthday celebration. It was a first time visit for me, my two daughters having visited a few times before and loved it. Really different. Excellent food and helpful staff. A really nice evening.

If you don’t like Chinese, try this because it will defiantly change your mind.

We had a lovely lunch from the set menu and the staff were all very friendly. Will definitely return.

Food was lovely - quality ingredients, well cooked. Service was a bit rough though. The main waitress made some weird comments about the vegan menu. I asked the sommelier some questions about the wine to which he responded that he didn't know because he didn't drink. A couple of the things we ordered fell between the gaps between different staff. All in all, they could do with getting a good maître d in to whip the team into shape. You expect better service for the prices they charge.

Good reception, service, food, presentation, drinks, ambience, but portions are not large. Hence prices are on the high side. Quite busy on Friday night.

We had a really good time. The staff were very welcoming from the moment we arrived. We had a great window table. The food and wine were delicious. We will definitely come back.

Went early in the evening, so it was rather noisy with families with young children playing around us, but aside from that - a very helpful waitress and very good food.

Very expensive and poor customer experience. Nice decor and good food. Definitely not recommended. Most reviews refer to this restaurant bring over priced and some have also experienced the rudeness of the management.

Came for a birthday meal which was our second visit. The 1805 is by far the best Chinese restaurant that we have used the food is second to none and the setting is excellent, the staff are attentive but not intrusive. We will definitely be back.

lovely place to go for Chinese meal - as it was a Saturday night it got quite noisy after 8 pm. However, service and food were great.

Lovely fresh food, very tasty & delicious, great service surprised it wasn’t busy for a Thursday evening in early December. Only negative... it was a tad too expensive to go there other than for a special occasion. Don’t mind paying for good food but would like to be able to afford to go more often & think they would be busier if they slightly reduced their prices.

Extremely friendly and attentive staff (who keep there distance until needed). Ordered the set meal for 2 - WOW, brilliant value for money. Would highly recommend visiting 1805. We will definitely return when in Bournemouth again.

Great atmosphere but very noisey. Food was delicious and plenty of it, however it was very slow service. We had to prompt staff with our empty drink glasses but they were all very busy. Great meal and drinks with friends. Will visit again.

This wonderful restaurant produces consistently delicious food. A regular favourite for the ladies who lunch.

Great food but we would have liked to have ordered three of the set meals for the four of us as there was far too much to eat and we left a lot.

Fabulas chinese food and great service..5 star!! wiil be back

Food and service is excellent but the restaurant design makes it incredibly noisy. The problem is that the the walls and floor are very hard flat surfaces which look great but reflect the sound back into the restaurant. There is a false ceiling which also adds a sort of echo effect to the noise.
